I am a road tripper at heart. I love to be on the road visiting all the sites. I enjoy hiking, visiting National Parks, stopping at quilt stores, Museums, Lighthouses, eating local food and washing it all down with a cold craft beer,

The sushi here was very good, and you can tell that they care a lot about the food they prepare. The prices seemed very reasonable and the rolls were generous. I had the heart attack roll which had so much flavor I did not want to dip it in the soy and wasabi as it was just going to mess up of the flavor. The chef made a spicy California roll for me which was also simple and tasty.

I had a tough time communicating that I was going to eat in and since it was 8:00 at night he just assumed that I wanted it to go. This resulted in me getting my food in a styrofoam container instead of a plate. Once I sat down at the table and started eating, he understood what I was trying to say and apologized multiple times.

You have to give this place a try, even though you may drive by it and not think that they would have great sushi and other dishes.

Fort Richardson has many great elements to make it a State Park worth visiting. If you are into history, Fort Richardson has lots of great stories in it. We arrived in time to enjoy the afternoon ranger guided tour which took you into most of the buildings on the property. The officers quarters and the hospital were well done and really gave you a sense of what it would have been like when the fort was active. This is where we spent most of our time during our visit.

On the site, there is an old quarry that has turned into a stocked fishing hole. When we pulled in, you could see lots of action from the fish in the pond and there were a number of fishermen wetting their line.

We toured the camping area and the campsites look like they would be a nice stay.

Overall I was pretty impressed and would not mind camping here in the future.

I enjoyed flying in and out of McGhee Tyson Airport. I was there on business and found it to be a quick and easy airport to get in and out of. When I arrived 90 minutes before my flight, I went through security and I was literally the only person in the security line at 5:30 PM. For an airport of its size there are pretty good choices for food. If you want to sit down and eat you can grab a meal at Ruby Tuesday, or is you want something quick you can hit Quiznos or Cinnabon. There is also a Starbuck for those that are needing a caffeine fix.

The store inside the security area is great as well. There is almost anything you would want in an airport store. There are great gift options, lots of different food choices, and books/magazines.

The gate area was also comfortable and had plenty of seating for the flights.

I also enjoyed taking some time looking at the art exhibit near the security and food area.

I was here on a business trip and had a pretty good stay at the Residence Inn. In general I am a fan of Residence Inn because I feel that you get a little more for your money. I was in a King Studio Suite room and it was a great layout. The living room was spacious and had both the couch and a chair to sit in The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The housekeeping staff had left a welcome note on the notepad by the phone, a nice touch.

This location feels like it was built in a time where they had narrower hallways, but it has been renovated and the carpet is just like any newer Marriott at this time.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated that they paid attention to my preferences on my loyalty card membership. I would choose the Residence Inn over the Courtyard if I return to Knoxville for work again.

I am giving Retro Burger Bar five stars because when I got done eating my burger I turned to my wife and declare it was the best burger that I have had in at least two years. Our service was also helpful, although we did have some communication issues as well.

I ordered the Moo Choo Burger. The burger had mushrooms, bacon, cheese and tomato marmalade that gives it great flavors. The meat is full o; flavor and well seasoned. The burger was cooked just the way we ordered it.

Retro Burger Bar also carries selection of beers from breweries around Mexico. This was a unique opportunity to get to try some beers that I have not tried before.

Juan More Taco was he most fantastic part of our vacation. I have started searching out food tours on trips because I really want to learn about the local food. This is exactly what Juan More Taco does. With all the food places along the Marina I doubt that most tourist get to experience the real food of Cabo and Mexico.

Our tour guide knew both his local history, but also knew a great deal about the food of Mexico. Isis "pronounced easy" was very personable and cared about us as his guest. He took time to learn about each of us and look his time in making sure we got a chance to learn about the local food.

The locations are hand picked to highlight a different part of the local cuisine. As a foodie I learned a great deal about the cooking methods and about the culture.

The food was amazing and I left with a full stomach and a full heart because of the experience on the tour. We ate Fortas or tacos at 4 different locations, learn d about tequila, visit d a tortilla factory and had two deserts.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the food and culture of southern Baja!

I stayed the weekend at the Bethesda Marriott and had a nice stay. The hotel is older, but the insides have all been remodeled recently. The room fixtures are all new, and have a new/trendy vibe to them, kind of a hipster feel. Size wise the rooms are a little small for the price you are paying, and the desk is basically non-existent if you are trying to get some work done.

If you have Marriott status and can visit the concierge lounge, this is one of the best I have been in lately. The options that are available are generous, and the ability to go through the breakfast buffet instead of just having an option of scrambled eggs, bacon and pastry was great. The lounge also had expanded hours from what I have seen at other properties with was nice.

The workout facility here is one of the largest I have seen for this grade of hotel and is very well equipped. Be sure to bring your workout clothes and take advantage of this opportunity.

Staff were very friendly, although I had an issue with my room not being serviced one day. When I spoke to the staff they said that they would have a new towel brought up to my room. I never saw the new towel.

This property also has a large and nice restaurant/bar that focuses on farm to table food options. We ate one meal there because we did not have transportation. it was a bit spendy but was delicious and fresh.

Finally, the hotel does provide a shuttle to the Medical Center Metro Stop which you can take anywhere you want to go on the Metro system. We went to downtown Washington D.C. and took it back to the airport. it was easy, convenient and a cheap way to get around.

Tulip farms are amazing to experience and this medium scale tulip farm has enough beds to provide an introduction to the experience. Being located in Texas, I am sure that it is nothing short of amazing and there are probably few other placed like it in the area. I am just super spoiled, having moved here from the northwest where the tulip fields are simply amazing.

While none of the fees seem to be too much on their own. I ended up spending something like $52.00 with four people in our group. At $2.50 a stem, these are some precious tulips, you really should be able to keep the bulb for that price.

It really is about the experience and there are some nice opportunities for some colorful pictures. Probably will not be an annual event for us, but it was a nice change of pace.

We stopped in Del City just to visit Your Pie for a pizza while we were traveling across the state. We enjoyed our experience and the food was great. I ordered the pizza special which had ricotta cheese, prosciutto ham, peaches, mozzarella and parmesan. The prosciutto was lean, the peaches were thinly sliced the the cheese was smooth and gooey. I chose the whole wheat dough which was very good dough. My only wish is that the peaches were either a little thicker or were riper and had more flavor.

My daughter got a build your own panini. The bread for the panini is the pizza crust dough placed in a loaf pan and baked so it was delicious. She got turkey, pesto, tomatoes and fresh mozzarella and it had great flavor. The pesto was very flavorful and added to the sandwich.

My wife had a house pizza with lots of meat and veggies. She gave good reports about it as well.

We enjoyed our stop at Your Pie and would recommend it to anyone who likes custom pizza. come in and take advantage of the suggested pizzas, or build your own. You will get a fresh made pizza just to your liking either way.

I enjoyed spending an afternoon at Devil's Den State Park to do a little hiking and exploring. On this trip I hiked the Devil's Den Trail which climbs through the bluffs with many rock formations of interest along the trail. On the far end of the trail is Twin Falls which was just barely a trickle in early June. I thought that there would be a little more water coming down the falls being early in the season. It was an easy hike with a total distance of 1.5 miles. The trail is a loop so you do not have to repeat any trail which is always fun.

I went to the visitor center just as they were closing. The staff was very nice even at the end of their day and they had a number of gift items in addition to the displays.

I drove through a couple of the campground loops just to check them out, and it looks like you could have a great time camping here.

I will be coming back to explore the Yellow Rock trail for sure.
