I am a road tripper at heart. I love to be on the road visiting all the sites. I enjoy hiking, visiting National Parks, stopping at quilt stores, Museums, Lighthouses, eating local food and washing it all down with a cold craft beer,

I stopped by here while driving through town to get to Colorado Springs. It is a fantastic place to stop, in fact, I used to get off at this same exit to hit the rest stop on the other side of the highway. This is a much better place to make a stop. The tasting room is a nice size with both inside and outside seating. The regular crowd was up at the bar, and the tourists were all at the tables. The regulars and the staff were all friendly.

I ordered a 4 beer taster which only cost $1.00 per 4 ounce pour. This was the perfect way to taste their different styles. I tried the Blue Lake Indian Pale Ale, Vanilla Cream Ale, Scottish Ale, and the Just Porter. I was very impressed with the trueness to style demonstrated by the brewery.

I with that I had some more time to try other brews. If you are a craft beer fan, this is definitely worth the time to stop and sample some great beer.

This is a great location for grabbing a quick dessert after a great meal on 7th street. We stopped by for the first time after having lunch at one of the local restaurants. The staff were very friendly and kept the line moving. I got the root beer popsicle and it had great flavor. I was surprised at how solid the pops were and they held up in the hot heat of summer pretty well.

Most of the seating here is outside, so be prepared to enjoy the heat while you eat our cold desert. We will be back for more great flavors in the future.

The Colorado Springs airport is a pretty good airport overall. It is small with 12 gates in one concourse, so it is really pretty easy to get in and out of. The rental cars are on site so you do not have to take a shuttle to them. The displays in the main areas are interesting honoring the local military installations and the Olympic athletes that come here to train.

There is a brewery tasting room inside the airport, outside of security that looked like it would be a great place to wait for someone that is coming in on a flight or to grab a bite to eat before your flight.

The TSA was efficient and I got through pretty quickly in spite of the crazy old couple in front of me that could not figure out how to comply to the current process. Ii will continue to use COS for my future flights to the area because it can save me 90 minutes compared to flying into Denver.

It was our first time to the Greville area, and we were looking for a place to have a quick dinner before we went across the street to a beer college. We thought that it would be a good idea to grab some food before tasting lots of different beers. We both ordered burrito bowls which were ok. I had the shrimp burrito bowl and the shrimp was cooked perfectly and had some good flavors.

The burrito bowl has a lot of food in them and we were not able to finish all the food.

I did not stay here overnight, but attended a conference at this location and it looks gorgeous. The staff that I met were very friendly and really seemed to want to serve the customers. The location is in a great spot with access to lots of shopping and if you are a golfer the course looked amazing. I think this would be fun for a local get away, so I will tell you more if we come up for a local get away.

We stayed here one night on our trip to the Boston Area. The staff when we checked in were very nice, they hooked us up with our room and the room was exactly what we have come to expect from a Spring Hill Suites. We enjoy these rooms because the have the separate seating area and make the time you have in the room a little more comfortable.

The next morning it was very busy down in the breakfast area. The staff knew that there were a number of youth sports teams coming down so they were working very hard to make sure that everything was stocked and ready for the guests. They even went to the extra effort to have a person pre-making waffles since they take more time.

As far as the location goes, I am still not sure what we were close to and it is tucked away in an area of other hotels. We enjoyed the night and were ready to continue our Boston adventure the next day.

The USS Constitution is a very interesting place to visit while in the Boston area. While it is still a commissioned ship of the US Navy, you will need to be prepared to show your id and go through a metal detector which is really not a big deal. while the ship is in dry dock, the accessibility varies depending on what work they are doing on the ship. When we were there, the full masts were down and most of the guns had been removed from the ship to cut down on the weight on board the ship while it was dry-docked.

The sailors that are stationed on the boat are active duty Navy, but they will provide you with an interpretive speech on the history of the boat and some very interesting facts. It had been a while since our last visit and just like last time, it is something that I will remember from our vacation.

We are back in the area again and are so glad that we chose the Downtown Marriott again. Just liked I remember it with large rooms and a clean updated room. This really has to be one of the best spots in town.

Did web checkin because we were coming in late. arrived at the front counter and everything was ready. We were checked-in in under a minute and headed to our comfortable room to Yelp about our day and to get a great rest for our day tomorrow.

For a summer resort this place is highly overpriced for what we experienced. I wonder what they they feel that their rooms are worth in the winter. I was shocked as we entered our room to find out that the room did not have any form of air conditioning. In today's world where do you spend $200 for a room and not have a way to make it a comfortable temperature for sleeping.

Oh I know you are supposed to open the windows and get fresh mountain air. So let's look out our window (picture included). We have a great view of a brown wall and get to hear all the traffic coming into the checkin area. Yes that means that you get to listen to every idling diesel truck that arrives, hear every car door slammed and hear the tranquil tones of car horns as people lock their cars. Not the mountain tranquility I had hoped for.

In addition the lodge is dated. From the beat up hallways to the dated fixtures, cabinets and tubs in the room I would not but this one on anyone's recommendation list.

Overall it was a disappointing experience and a poor nights rest. Don't let the mountain pictures in their marketing materials fool you.

I have become a fan of Residence in and this location is no exception. The room was clean, current and very comfortable. I enjoy having the kitchen, and family room separate from the sleeping area. It makes it feel like home. The couch in the room was large and comfortable so that was a big plus. The bed had signature Marriott bedding so it was comfortable and provided a nice nights rest.

The staff was nice and efficient at check in as well. The location is just a little ways from the historic downtown, but this makes for a very quite stay. We had a great experience and would certainly come back again.

The breakfast was really good. There was a little more attention to detail than I see at most Marriott free breakfasts. There were scrambled egg whites, the potatoes were doctored up with sausage, onions, and peppers and tasted great. The staff were very pleasant and I was glad that I did not make the decision to go out to eat somewhere else.
