Right off freeway, secluded. It’s located between a Arizona state police sub station and Apple Annie’s. A T/A gas station is down the street. There is some freeway noise but for a quick and free stop over, not bad.
Apple Annie’s could easily be a Harvest Host spot but when I mentioned it, I felt I spoke amongst deaf ears, oh well their loss, they do have variety of items to buy and seemed very popular with the locals.
If you decide to get a bite to eat at the roadrunner cafe in the KOA, the food is ok but a little overrated

Pictures don’t do this place justice.
Easy to access, about 5 to 6 miles from Wall SD off the 240 hwy.
Limited sites, some are level some not so level.
Dirt/gravel road that’s fairly RV friendly.
Road good for hiking, biking and jogging.
BLM camping: 5 stars
Great cell service, cell tower is right there.

This RV Park has everything, I can’t say anything bad about my experience. Nice staff, kid-friendly, close to Solvang, spacious RV sites, 3 swimming pools.

At first glance, I was thinking, oh no! But, don’t judge a book by its cover.
Staff: Friendly
Appearance: needs improvement but has the potential of being the #1 RV spot in that area with some TLC to the sites. Fixing old water connections, mine was directly over the electrical box, yikes!
XFactor: the spacious hot spring pools is the main attraction and well worth it.
Recommendation: clean the sites, weedwack, update electrical and water connections.

This is a designated BLM 14 day free camping area which is the closest one to Quartzsite compared to the other free sites.
These are different than the BLM LTV sites which cost a minimum of 40$ for a 2 week or less stay. So if you only want to stay for 1 day it’s still 40$.
The host at Scaddan was very nice and accommodating, we where here in OCT, weather was a high of 88°. Not crowded yet but by January it will be busy. Very clean, rock fire pits and tire tracks are the only signs of people being present. BLM seems to be doing a great job of cleaning the area. There is some road noise off the 10 fwy but it puts me to sleep.

No frills, basic, old outdated rv camping with very little greenery. Reminded of the movie “ Leaving Las Vegas”. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Try to get a spot along the taller buildings because they block the morning to noontime sun, after that little to no shade.

Hot hot hot which is to be expected in August but all concrete intensifies the heat.

The overall experience was 3 stars.
Reservations: easy, staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Price: 89$ a day, premium site, mid week “it’s Malibu”.
Check in: 1pm exactly, when checking in, i was asked by an elderly woman staff member or maybe it was the owner, if I ever come back here that check in time is 1pm. I looked at at my watch, it was 12:57 pm. I then asked if I ever do come back and I’m 3 min early, what should I do? Her reply was park along PCH and wait🤔. The lady also said that staff takes lunch between 12 and 1pm, ok maybe she was “Hangry” but there where 3 staff members inside the office, if I owned the business I would have my employees stagger their lunch.
Site: premium site, double wide, full hook ups plus cable and WiFi, ocean view👍🏼. 👎 premium site level was way off, this was by far the hardest place I have ever been to as far as leveling my ride.
👎no direct beach access.
Spots are tight , so if you’re new to rving and you have a trailer or fifth wheeler “good luck”

Overall: clean, fairly spacious, easy to get in and out.
Staff: friendly and helpful
Appearance: clean, well maintained, hook up area was easy to access.
XFactor: close to Jackson and Jackson hole, great bike paths, we we’re able to ride our bikes to Jackson hole with ease. Miles of bike paths.
Price: to high but when you’re that close to the action with full hookups, they kinda got you by the kahonas.
