The road here is rough narrow and winding, though we did get through without a scratch. I've been through enough tight spaces in the past few years, otherwise it may have been different. Space for one rig our size, and turning around is likely for the experienced. Better left for tent/van camping. Eager and evil vampire mosquitoes do exist.

We drove through some of the other areas, Teton View, etc. I wouldn't say this is the best location, but it is very pretty and far removed from the crowds. There are two other tent/van campers here with us, it doesn't feel overly crowded.

Unboosted 15mb down, 3 up on AT&T. Verizon internet will work a little, but only a little.

This is a small home owner rv park, I think just 8 or so sites, 4 with FHU. It's incredibly well taken care of, clean, owners seem to take pride in what they do there.

We spent nearly 2 weeks in the area. Our initial location was just off the main road through Lava Hot Springs. The noise was pretty constant from 5am to 11pm. We moved up to hilltop, what a difference. The sites are large, the view is incredible, it's quiet and simply relaxing. We also had the place to ourselves mid week. The owners were very nice and accommodating, and very relaxed with wearing masks and distancing given covid.

The road up is steep in some places, 4x4 probably a good idea, we certainly used it. There are some steep sections getting up to the hilltop. The site we had, we had to back up uphill into the site. I marked access down due to that, but really given a 4x4 it's not a problem getting in and out. The owners even went and trimmed more before we arrived to be sure we didn't mare our Airstream with a stray branch. There were larger rigs than ours up there.

AT&T and Verizon both were giving 60-80mbps down, 30 up, no boosting.

The website does a good job of showing the location.

If you don't mind being away from it all, this is a hard place to beat. The hot springs are great, the surroundings are beautiful, the place if cool with lots of interesting nooks and crannies. They occasionally have music and other things going on, I missed a music night by one night. While here, there were evenings when I had the springs to myself, other times locals coming in and out but its never been crowded. Very few campers here in October, at least during the week. The sky was clear for this stay and at night the stars are amazing.

Reservations are a bit awkward,

Verizon works very well, but to get a reasonable upload speed I had to turn on the booster.

We used our Coast to Coast membership here. I needed to travel a week for work, but also wanted to visit the area. The campground itself has horse back riding, salt water pool, etc. but also lots of camp fires, kids, etc. Weekends are especially busy. The also have day visitors so the pool gets busy. Only two washers and one was out of order. Roads are a bit tight in areas. Most sites are within trees and well shaded.

While I have signal on Verizon, my ATT bandwidth (50dn/12up w/o booster) was so much better I just used that.

I liked the location, the property, and Dana the host. It's a very pretty area.

The problem is accessibility for a rig our size into any of the sites in the back area. I think we got out unscathed only due to experience and lots of patience, as well as help from another camper and Dana (removing low branches, moving rocks lining the narrow roads, etc). Given this difficulty I can't say that our stay was great, but if I were passing through and prepared for dry camping I'd consider giving it another try (see more below).

If you're tent/van camping, or have a small rig (teardrop style or something like a scamp trailer) there should be no big issue getting in and out.

If you want to stay in a larger rig (ours is a 27' airstream with a F150 4x4 6.5' bed) you could stay in one of the two dry camping sites at the very front of the property. They are relatively easy to get into and the parking area in front of the house/pool is large enough to do one or two pivots to turn around if you're comfortable doing so. I think if we had really thought it through, I'd have done that, and we would have enjoyed the stay. I'm not certain if I'd attempt staying here in anything much larger than what we have, but I've no experience in larger rigs.

Dana seems very aware now of the issues with larger rigs and perhaps he will do some work on addressing that, if you're interested in staying here I'd ask.

The road out to the property is dirt but well maintained, only minor washboard. It gets a little rougher close to the property but it did not get to a point where I was bothered or concerned.

The pool area is very nice, but too cold to jump into while I was there. The hot tub could be a couple degrees warmer, but I used it and enjoyed staring at the stars without getting cold.

To my understanding from a friend who stayed a couple weeks prior to us, they are no longer clothing optional. I forgot to ask Dana about that directly.

Verizon bandwidth was great without a booster, I could have worked here without any issue. I didn't bother much with tmobile or at&t, but did have an at&t signal on my phone.

I do hope that Dana is successful with the camping there, it is a special place for those who like something different.

There's not much to do around here other than enjoy the beach and have campfires. The beach is great for walking, you hardly ever see other people. The water is warm for Canada, warm enough to swim in for a while, though I did see a number of jelly fish. The sites are on a bluff overlooking the water, though there are trees so you don't have a completely clear view. There are other campgrounds on the beach itself, but I like this particular beach the best for walking and swimming.

A train goes by 3-4 times a day, but you hardly notice, and it seems schedule such that the last one is around 9:30-10:30pm.

LTE on Bell was sufficient, not great. 10-15MB down and 2-5MB up using a booster.

Nice sized and wooded sites. Good environment to work in, close to towns for exploring/shopping/dinners.

Not much to add above previous review except cellular:

AT&T has signal but is weak but works for phone calls. 3mb dn/ <1mb up. Didn't try with the booster.
Verizon is great, 28 dn/ 12 up.

This is a nice little roadside motel with rv park. We're here at the tail end of some updates, looks like new infrastructure (electric/water/sewer), grass laid, new tables, etc. They've put in nice roadways and gravel pads that are not visible on google sat. The FHU sites are all close to the road, and beyond that the rail tracks. If the noise doesn't bother you, it's a nice spot with river access. It seems there is not an engine break rule for the semis here. All the river sites are electric+water.

FHU Sites 6-8 are a bit tight to get into with a 28' trailer, probably better suited to shorter units.

Measured 15mb up and down on Verizon, similar with AT&T (no booster).

Overall not an impressive park, but has a good location, quick to get into town and visit friends. Staff was friendly, lots of full timers and a mix of mobile homes. Didn't get around to checking out the facilities. Given availability, I'd pick Armitage park over this place, but I'd stay here again for a quick night or two otherwise.

Spent a few days here last week of May working. Beautiful setting. The owner is great, the riverside sites are nice if a touch compact, though I had much of the park to myself. I was worried about noise due to the location next to the road and river, never noticed any road noise. 2 minute walk into town. Trails everywhere.

For cell, Verizon is great, tower is line of site from the campground. I didn't record the bandwidth but it was among the better places I've stayed, more than adequate for video conferencing, etc.

Be prepared to figure out an alternative for AT&T. We used skype/etc. to call out over the VZ hotspot.
