Stayed for 3 nights in June. Beware that you have to cross the dam if coming from the west but I believe there’s another route if you have a long rig. We’re a 32’ travel trailer with truck and did fine.
Internet was just ok. I was able to have virtual meetings but with some delay. Basic online work would sometimes come to a crawl but it was doable for a few days. This was on both Verizon and ATT.
No dump here, but there is water available.
Had a riverfront site and saw tons of deer. Sites are decent sized and spaced apart nicely. No hookups but full sun for solar

As long as it’s not raining this area is very nice. Some trash around the fire pits but not too bad. Cows roam free and great view of the mountains. Excellent Verizon and ATat service. Streaming was not an issue at all. About 10 minutes to abashed and about 30 minutes to Mesa where there is more shopping available.

We had a reservation at this park because Riverside CG was full, so we took a ride from Riverside to Devils Elbow to check the internet since internet seems to be really spotty on the north end of the lake. We had 1-2 bars but i couldn’t even load google maps to get directions. Most areas in the park signal was lost completely. This was on both Verizon and ATT (FirstNet). Since we have to work remotely, I had to cancel the res, which is sad because it was a very nice park and scenery. If you don’t need internet I would definitely recommend staying here!

Very friendly staff! All sites are on the river and the views are exceptional. Hardly any campers during the week. Very peaceful, green well-kept grass, full hookups, trash service. Verizon works great for hotspot. Had video meetings with no connection issues at all. ATT did not work at all for online work. Did not try TMobile. Cute little town about 5 minutes away with a Dollar General for necessities. Enjoyed watching and hearing the barges pass by on the river.

Was unsure about this place because of another review but we were evacuated from another park and needed somewhere to stay. Pulled in and immediately realized it was not near as bad as what we thought.

A ton of space between sites. All grass and a picnic table. No bathrooms. Full water, sewer, electric. Yes there are a few people that live in the park in trailers but they’re kept up. Yes there is road noise, but not highway noise…just the street that is out front of the park.

Lady at the front desk was super friendly. We are not usually allowed to take our dogs to any RV park but it was not a problem here. Close to Walmart and many other stores and restaurants.

Cell service was excellent…I was able to work, have online meetings, etc without any issues.

Since there’s no dump stations at most of the parks around the lake we decided to stay here for 3 days after staying at Riverside and disbursed camping at Goose Bay. Cell service was great and I was able to have virtual meetings without any problem on both ATT and Verizon. Bathrooms and showers looked nice but take quarters. Full hookups we’re good and the roads in we’re fine so they must have repaired them. No real shade to speak of but there was a good breeze off the lake.

Very nice park. Bathrooms were very clean and showers were super hot for as long of a shower as you want. Several alligators in the pond but did not bother anyone. Sites were large with a lot of space between. 4 host sites so if no one is in them you can dump at any of them…they all have sewer. Grass everywhere, which was nice. Cell service was great. There’s a cell tower in the park and I was able to have video meetings and work all day on both Verizon and ATT; no issues at all. The area is incredible…alligators everywhere and fishing was awesome in the canal on the road in.

Very clean. Boats on the lake were loud at times but nothing can be done about that. The staff were very friendly and the park was well kept. Bathrooms were ok. Showers only had a curtain and no door for privacy. Verizon and ATT both had excellent service. No booster needed. Little town outside of the campground has everything you need and the drives around the area are beautiful.

Wasn’t expecting much but this campground definitely delivered. Very secluded, silent, spaces are very far apart, bathrooms, water spigots available throughout, beautiful lake, and a lot of roads/trails to explore. Good cell service on Verizon and ATT. 2 bars ATT and 4 bars Verizon. Site 5 is probably the longest pad and fit our truck and 32ft trailer with lots of room to spare.

First, if you rely on internet for Google Meets, Zoom, or Skype meetings, you will not be able to work from this campground…anywhere in the campground. We have a WeBoost and still not enough of a connection to have meetings. It is a very busy campground, especially on the weekends. Sites are fairly close together. Being by the river is nice and only minutes away from Bay St. Louis, Gulfport, and Biloxi. Make sure you know where your site is before you get here; no maps are given out and the numbers are confusing.
