On our way back to MI and my husband found this RV park. Very nice! Clean, well maintained, owners very hospitable. We had a nice bonfire with the big bundle of nice dry wood we got there! Definitely would go back for a few days!

We found a jewel of an RV park on the Ohio River in Kentucky. Our campsite was right on the river bank. We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay at this wonderful park. Watching the barges go up and down the river along with an occasional recreational boat or 2. The host couple were super nice and felt like friends to us. The spaces are big enough for anything you can drive. We have a 27’ Class A and a Jeep in tow. Other campers drove in a big class A and a tow car with no problem. Site spaces were level - didn’t have to level. There is a small dock on the property if you are interested in boating or fishing. I wish we could have stayed longer than just 2 nights. We will return someday and stay longer if we can. I recommend this gem to all my family and friends.

Very friendly camp-hosts for a very nice site that backs up to the Ohio River. Good views of the sunset. 20mph winds and mayflies made it an interesting stay, but we absolutely enjoyed it! Full hook ups and a small playground for the kids. We watched fireflies. If it wasn’t so windy a fire ring was provided for a campfire. There were pull through sites but since they were just getting their campground started these weren’t available yet. About 20 min off the Highway but great views spanning the campground looking across to Illinois. If coming from Smithland there is a narrow bridge to cross before arriving. We have a dually and a 37’ travel trailer. We made it fine but glad no one was coming in the opposite direction. Spotty service with AT&T. We stayed connected to our truck since we were only staying one night, level grass site. Would stay there again!

We are at this RV park now. The owners are very nice and will go out of their way to make sure you get to your campsite and are settled in. Very clean, quite, and peaceful. Our campsite was level, shady, and on the banks of the Ohio River. It was relaxing to sit and watch river boats go by. We will definitely be back!

This place is just the best. We spent a week there last year and another week there this year. Might even stop through for another week on our way back North.
Half the sites back up to the Ohio river. Like you're 50-100' away from the water. It's so quiet here, you rarely hear a car go by. There is quite a lot of barge traffic on the river but often all you hear is a low rumble as they pass and nothing more. The loudest thing is the bugs. It's a serene peaceful park.
The owners are fantastic, very accommodating. We booked online and when we arrived they suggested a different spot with a nice shade tree at the back of the trailer. All the spots on the river are back in or pull in if you're in a motorhome. The spots across from the river are pull through via a path in the grass. We never had an issue with the power or water while staying there. They do not have wifi and the AT&T signal is so low it's useless. You need to be on Verizon or use satellite(starlink works great).
They don't have much by the way of facilities. It was an old shutdown RV park that they re-opened a few years back so just getting things going again. There is a playground, basketball and horseshoe area. Plenty of space to run your dogs but it is not fenced in. They do have ice for sale this year.
Paducah is about 30m away. There is a very narrow bridge you cross just after going through Smithland. We've done it with our dually but it did have some pucker factor when we passed a dump truck going the other way.

Very friendly staff! All sites are on the river and the views are exceptional. Hardly any campers during the week. Very peaceful, green well-kept grass, full hookups, trash service. Verizon works great for hotspot. Had video meetings with no connection issues at all. ATT did not work at all for online work. Did not try TMobile. Cute little town about 5 minutes away with a Dollar General for necessities. Enjoyed watching and hearing the barges pass by on the river.
