We saw 9 alligators, lots of turtles, and birds

This trail takes has about 100 feet elevation gain in .3 miles its uphill over rocks to get to the waterfall. After the falls you continue the loop that follows the creek...my kids played in the creek. Then it reconnects to the trail. You also have the option of continuing on to a meadow, we did not do that.
Beautiful mountain lake after you take a trail gaining 400+ feet in elevation in about .8 miles. We are from the midwest and had difficulty breathing, but we took it slow and made it to the lake.
White knuckle drive for my husband, but I loved every minute of it. Took longer than we thought it would. We saw mountain goats, a big horn sheep ewe, and a herd of elk.
Beautiful ride - my husband, myself, and 2 of our kids 11 and 13 took an hour ride. The guide was friendly and informative. The scenery was beautiful. They have you get on and off of the horses on a loading block, so it is very easy, you basically just put your leg over the horse and you are on.
Cool if you like giant painted eggs
