Positives:
- friendly owners
- year round hook-ups
- year round bathhouse
- pet friendly
- relatively clean grounds
- good wifi.
negatives:
- very busy in our experience, and filled with a lot of full-time residents.
- not very private
- not very good views compared to other local parks.
We prefer Glenwood RV Park, which is on the other side of Riverside. It has a better views and nicer sites, and tends to be less crowded. However, while Glenwood is open year round, they're services are not complete in the winter months.

*****campground is "CLOSED for construction" as of May 2023****************
Not bad for a quick getaway or fishing trip. There's not a lot to do here except relax.
Browns Lake is a small mountain lake about 12 miles outside Usk WA, surrounded by clearcut and forest. The campground is on the south side of the lake within a ceder grove. The lake is motorless and fly fishing only. There's a hiking trail that goes into the ceder grove. The lake is great for fishing, wading, kayaking, SUPs and canoeing.
All the sites are first-come-first-serve and are equally available to tent campers and RVs. Most, but not all sites have somewhat level parking for RVs. RV length is limited to about 24 feet. All sites are back in only. No hookups. No dump station. No water. There are several vault toilets. There are bear proof trash bins throughout the campground. Maintainance and condition was good, typical of Forest Service campgrounds in the northwest.
We did a spur-of-the moment overnight trip on a Saturday and didn't expect to find a great site. The campground was at about 75% capacity when we arrived. We got lucky and found spot 7 adjacent to the lakefront. Our friends got spot 9 which had a better lake view.
There's no cell service, although our friends were able to get a text out on the south side of the campground.

Vasa Park Resort is a privately owned park on Lake Sammamish. Most of the park is set up for lake goers, swimming, picnics, parties, music, and public gatherings. The RV section is relatively small with only 15 sties. Finding a quiet, clean RV park anywhere within a metro area is not easy. This isn't a luxury full service RV resort, but it's great for what it is and it's really hard to find anything to complain about. Although there's not much privacy, the sites are adequately sized and spaced. Most sites should accommodate any size rig. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. Some of the RV power and water hookups were in questionable condition. Our 20 amp outlet was broken but the park staff fixed it very quickly.
