Went by and it was under construction. A very friendly gentleman told us that it had been for months and also explained that it was being refinished. We were amazed to watch one lonely worker HAND SANDING the entire thing. It was still pretty cool looking though. A nice stop if you are heading to or from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
These beautiful formations are well worth the hike to get close to them. We went on a warm summer day and were able to watch the lightning storms roll in across Lake Ontario. A nice day trip.
There are some beautiful sculptures in the park. They are also for sale if you fancy any. The sculpture park is actually the artist's property and most of them are quite lovely. Even his house is a work of art (though you cannot go in there) It was the first stop on quite an extensive road trip and it was a wonderful way to kick it off.
