If you want a unique place to stay on Route 66, this is it. Our wigwam was clean, with good air conditioning and a TV. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and affordable. They've put a lot of work into the wigwams, and this is a great, classic Route 66 business to support.
We arrived around 9pm after a long day of driving, and the woman working the front desk was very kind. She had a few rooms open and showed them all to us, and gave us a brief history of the place. They are currently refurbishing the exterior, but all of the interiors of the rooms were in great shape. Much of the furniture and décor was original or from the original time frame, and the rooms were very clean and in great shape. I would definitely stay here again.
Skip it. We ordered a turkey sandwich and a hot dog, and after waiting forty minutes, we got up and left. Also, our server was eating French fries while taking other people's orders. The food is very overpriced for what it is.
