Super cool place. We fed the prairie dogs, some of them took the unsalted peanuts right out of my hand. These little guys were very entertaining to watch. We didn’t look around very much in the gift shop, but the clerk was very friendly and helpful. We took some great photos and video.
$12 seemed a little expensive until we walked around and looked at all the exhibits and buildings. This was totally worth the money. I would go back without a second thought. Great for the kids. Don’t pass it by.
This visitor center, even though crowded, was fantastic. The movie was good, and the staff was super knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this place. Very kid friendly.
The visitor center is fantastic. There is a display about the history of the missile program, and the Cold War, that was very well done. We couldn’t tour the actual missile silo, but there is a training silo at Ellsworth AFB near Rapid City.
