This place is considered as one of the most beautiful parks in the area. The place is also picturesque and just too beautiful. The serene environment is just too soothing and calming that can relieve the stressful feeling that you have. The Coconino National Forest covers a large area and has a collection or various hiking trails from the easy ones and the most challenging ones. But just for a precaution, the drive is a little bumpy. Especially if you would turn to Wood Mountains, only the first mile there is paved and the next 3 miles are not and the drive is very rough. And you will experience a lot of trouble because of the dust and dirt that might stick to your car and block the visibility of the road.
Your 20 minute drive from Williams up to this place is really worth it. However be aware that there is about 3.5 miles of rough and unpaved road. The wonderful site also overlooks the Bill Mountains and the beautiful lake. The place is also spacious and there are a lot of lovely Pedrosa Pines that are planted in the border.
This place is an old but well preserved 19th century farm. This place features different farm animals from cows, horses, goats, chickens, duck and also a mule. The farm is also equipped traditional farm equipment. Also there is an interesting and small farm museum that might get your attention there. A lot of helpful rangers are also there to guide and help you.
A fabulously interesting garden! There are a lot of things you can enjoy here. Also the rose garden and the greenhouse are just breathtaking. And what I like best here is the Japanese garden because the setting is just so serene and tranquil, perfect place to visit if you are in the mood to relax. Also, in the evening, the view here is really magnificent, they had set up lanterns in the Chinese garden. The evening is filled with music and lights and is just simply amazing!
This place is perfect for an afternoon walk or maybe biking. Also, there are a lot of places where people can sit or have picnics and watch the beautiful sunset. There are also a lot of restaurants where you can eat.
This huge and amazing park is located right in the center of the city of Montreal. To roam around the place will take you around 2-3 hours to really enjoy the magnificent views and to enjoy the place itself. Also, you will be able to meet a lot of different people in the park.
