My favorite place in the entire world. Endless amount of things to do: tubing, water skiing, jet skiing, kneeboarding, sailing, swimming, and much more. I live to come here each year.
Great place to spend the day! We go once a year each August, and while the water is freezing, it is still so much fun. The water is deep enough for adults to stand, and there are plenty of kid friendly areas. The trails are pretty easy and you can spend hours there exploring.
Swallow Falls State Park is a fabulous place for hiking and swimming. I have gone up there once a year for the past 7 years and I love it. The trails are pretty easy and there are a bunch of waterfalls to swim in and climb. Some are small enough to jump off of and some you and climb around the back and jump through. It's fun for younger kids and adults and can easily take up a days amount of time exploring everything.
