This is a parking lot inside the fairgrounds and has options for full hookups, electric only and dry camping. It’s right in town and much less than other RV parks in the area. Our site was 11B which was on asphalt and electric only for $40 a night (it has asphalt parking in front of the RV site too). AT&T cellular was 2 bars 5G. OTA channels brought in 9 and most were usable. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our weekend stay here because the nearby state park was full. There is cement everywhere here! They just finished their peak season, so many of the amenities were closed. The site was very level and it had enough room to park our tow car. The OTA signal showed only 3 channels, but they do have complementary cable. Also, they also had free WiFi. AT&T was great with 80 down and 20 upload speeds! The back row we were on was very quiet (away from I-12). We would stay here again if the state park was full on the weekend.

The day before we arrived, they had their grand opening. This is a gated RV park because it is located in an industrial area. It is brand new and is pristine and has wide cement sites. Unfortunately, their WiFi was still not up for being open for three months. They seemed to be frustrated by this also. There were many OTA channels because it was in Houston and there was 4 bars LTE AT&T service as well. Amenities include swimming pool, grilling area, multiple dog parks, pool table, fitness center, arcade, and laundry. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a hot tub. There were separate large showers on the main building that were very clean. The RV park is close to the end of the Ellington Airport, the same airport the astronauts use for training. This was a great park to be at for any activities in downtown Houston as it was 17 miles away. We enjoyed going to tour the NASA facility as well. We were first to use the Passport America discount, otherwise it would be $65 per night.

The site we had, site W31 was tight for big rigs. The bushes between the sites were hitting the side of our slide outs. If you didn’t have slide outs, it would be just fine. The site itself was level, had full hookups, fire pit and even a cement patio with table and chairs. Because it was so close to Rifle CO, AT&T cellular was 4 bars 5G, there were lots of OTA channels and our hotspot had good download/upload speeds. If you need a good overnight spot, this KOA meets that need!

We chose this campground so we could explore Mount Rainier NP. It is a city park and only has 12 sites. There were only 3 other campers when we were here in Oct 2023. Site 9 is a back in, gravel site with electric and water. Site 9 and 12 are the best sites for Class A motorhomes. AT&T cellular was 3 bars 5G (fast) and OTA provided a few limited usable channels. There is a sign that says free WiFi, but couldn’t find it!

This is a relatively new county RV Park which opened in 2017. The sites are all asphalt with a cement patio, fire pit, picnic table and lots of shrubbery and plants to provide some privacy. Site C01 was an end pull-through level site with 50-amp electric, water and sewer. AT&T was 2-3 bars 5G, and only 6 usable OTA channels. The park WiFI was excellent for streaming. We were able to get over to Crater Lake NP, which is a 1 hour 45 minute drive, but so worth it! The staff is excellent and very attentive!

This is a new county park that opened in 2021 that is located near the Dumbarton Quarry toll plaza. Most, if not all sites, were built to drain water off the sites (non-RVers designing the sites). We were in site 45 and had to raise the front of our motorhome on two blocks. Site 45 was FHU, asphalt, picnic table and fire ring were on crushed rock. We got 50 OTA channels (but no CBS). Park had excellent WiFi for streaming, and we had 3 bars AT&T cellular. Park had full recycling and even compost recycling! We enjoyed the solitude of this park and the opportunity to hike on all the trails. It was definitely a great base camp to go into San Francisco and to visit the Apple Park Visitor Center! We will definitely be back!

This new RV Park is located in the middle of the Glanstan Golf Course outside of Payson UT. It’s a beautiful RV Park with mountain views and golf greens. They only got a couple things wrong - no sign on the street for entering campground and every single site is low in either the front or back. Site 9 was 9 inches low in the back. Even the trailers were cussing! We were here on Memorial Day weekend and they still had 4 sites that weren’t booked. After the crowd left from the holiday, we practically had the campground to ourselves for the rest of the trip. We absolutely loved the area! So close to Provo and Orem Utah. Lots of hiking trails around the area. Also, make sure you drive the Mount Nebo Scenic Drive - 38 mile loop from Payson! The sites are gravel and are all pull through and have full hookups. We had lots of OTA channels, all out of Salt Lake City and 3-4 bars ATT with 70 down and 12 up, so streaming was good. We had no golf balls come near us, so we think they considered that when building the sites.

Barefoot RV Resort is just off the Grand Strand Airport (a county-owned pubic-use airport), so there is some noise, but we really enjoyed it. This is a new RV park (it used to be a mobile-home park) and they really take pride in their park. As soon as someone leaves, they are blowing off the cement pads and use water to clean it. It is just off Highway 17, so it is convenient to get to anything you want to go to. You can also walk to Barefoot Landing which has food, shopping and entertainment. The sites have double cement pads and are level, have full hookups (water, electric, sewer), cable and WiFi. Connectivity: 54 OTA channels, AT&T 5G 3 bars, great upload/download speeds. They have recycle bins at each site and will pick up garbage and recycle at your site if you put it out at 10am. We stayed here for a week, so there was one night free.
