This was a nice spot to picnic for lunch and run around in the field before we had to stick our kids back in the car. A neat display of art oddly juxtaposed the with industrial, blue collar feel of the town.

My family really enjoyed our stop here in the morning (after staying the night in Salida). It was a great way to start the day because the scenery gets pretty monotonous afterwards.

This is one of the most magical places I have ever visited. It was our first stop on our cross country road trip to move out West and it served as beautiful goodbye to Virginia. Magical for children and adult's alike. So much to explore. I will absolutely never forget it.
