Overnight stay. West Texas is HOT in Aug! While we usually just stay in a rest area or truckstop, we need to run some AC. Looked for a safe, clean place to overnight and hook-up to reliable 50amp power. Based on reviews, we picked this place, Fort Stockton RV Park. We were glad we did. We called ahead to make a same day reservation and they answered the phone immediately, took down our info and wrote us down. The office was open till 8:00, we got there around 5:oo. Very helpful and nice staff. There is a section with longer term folks, but the section with more trees, shade and grass is for us transients. There are a lot of pull-through sites, more than enough room for our 35' MH and toad. We did not unhook. The sites are gravel, level, with a concrete patio and picnic table. Trees are tall enough to cast some shade in the later afternoon. Electricity was steady and reliable, both ACs ran most all evening and night. Did not hook up water or sewer, but had both at site with convenient location. We were in one of the front row spots. Very convenient for our early morning departure. Was kind of worried about road noise and dust. There was none. The WiFi was as good or better than any we have ever used at an RV park. Good Verizon coverage as well. There is a nice, clean pool to cool off in and a nice big dog run. Get off I-10 on Exit 264 and follow the signs. We will use this every time we need to overnight along I-10.

We stopped her for an overnight. Was 100 degrees and wanted some 50amp service:). Very nice park. Took our nextday reservations without any issues. Had a nice pull through we did not need to unhook our toad. Not all sites would allow this, so be sure and confirm when you book. There are a ton of amenities here. Access is pretty straightforward off either I-44 or I-35. I recommend the I-44 route though. Be sure and ask the staff for directions. The path to the registration desk is to follow the yellow arrows. Ten once you check in, someone will escort you to your site. Was disappointed in the internet. Wifi was good, but not enough bandwidth to even to e-mail. Very clean. There was some road noise, but not that noticeable. Our one complaint was the bird noise. There are tons of birds living in the trees, chirping loudly all night. Could not leave the windows open. Overall a good stay, just what we needed. Would stay here again.

Perfect location. Beautiful serene beaches. Gorgeous sunsets. This is a big park. The sites are widely varied. If you are unable to make a preview visit, be sure and look at the site pictures on the the reservations page. Some say they are large, but there are lots of trees making entrance tight. Just because you have a lagoon-side site, many have a marsh between the site and the lagoon. I found the roads very tight for my 35' MH. Be sure and unhook your toad in the visitor center parking lot before you go into the campground. No sewer connections, but the water and elec were good. The bathhouses looked like they are new or recently remodeled. The beach is long, clean and without commercializations. All that said, this is THE place to stay if you go to PCB.

Got one of the 3 pull throughs. Need a long electric cord 50'. No water hook up. Very nice and clean. Right next to lake. We did not have reservations and got there at 4 on a Saturday while the office was still open. ThIs is Michigan so if you are out of state they charge you a $9/day fee. Or you can buy a season pass for $31. Pays for itself if you stay more than 3 nights. Also if you have a Motorhome Michigan charges you for you toad

Overall a very nice park. Nice beach. Level sites. But sites not paved Some have gravel.

Great location, well kept park, most are spacious sites. Full hook-ups are available. Be sure and join Friends of Georgia State Parks before you go and you will get 2 free nights, free daily admission, and a discount on all remaining nights. We had a full hook-up site with sewer. Be sure and pay the extra couple of $ and you will need to make a reservation. It is well worth it if you are staying any length of time. We did an on-off trolley to get a lay of the land in Savannah. Then walked around the historic district. Great restaurants and pubs. Amazing history.

We needed a place to overnight with electricity for the AC. Also looking for something not to far from the Interstate. This seemed like a good place, had decent reviews, so we stopped in. Glad we did. Nice, clean, helpful. Spacious sites, nice picnic tables and armadas over them. Even have grills. All the sites are pull-through, so we did not have to unhook the toad. There is minimal shade. Most sites have a tree, it is all about getting in its shade:). The interior roads, sites and pads are gravel and rock. The wi-fi was top notch, the Verizon coverage was good. And you can not beat the price in the heat of the summer. There is a train crossing near-by and you can hear the commuter trains some, but it seems to end in the evening. Turned out to be just what we were looking for as an overnight stay with hook-ups. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very nice state park and campground. Yes, the road in, Hwy 171, from I-30 is narrow, but very passable. Worked just fine with our 35’ MH. Check in at the visitor center first. We unhooked our toad there. You could also unhook your toad at the nature trail parking lot just inside the park boundary before the visitor center. We were in the lower part of C loop. Very level site, back-in, on the lake. Good power, water and sewer. Nice clean bathroom and showers. Good Verizon coverage. Not all sites will pick up sat tv. Roomy site with a picnic table, fire ring and grill. Some sites had elevated patios. Very helpful and nice staff. It is about 15 min into Hot Springs.

What a wonderful campground. We were in the west campground. 50 pull through with nice paved spot. No water or sewer. Our spot was roomy, quite and private. It was also well shaded. The east campground seemed more open, less shade, gravel small spaces but better wifi. All interior roads are paved and it is very easy to get to. Restrooms and showers clean but dated. Wifi was only good at restrooms. Verizon coverage was weird. There were spots that worked. A cell booster would hook you up but unfortunately our power suppl failed. We did get some coverage in our spot

The campgrounds were immaculate. The hosts had coffe made each morning and were very helpful with things to do and see on the Keweenaw Peninsula. You can walk to town, about 1/2 mile and you can walk to the Copper Harbor Lighthouse overlook. There are nice trails along the lake and the Fort is worth the time to walk around.

We also drove over to check out the competition at Fanny Hoe. Hands down stay in the State Park

We needed a place to overnight in the 95 degree heat of August. Wanted some 50 amp access. This is a casino RV park. There are actually two of them. One by the Casino and one by the Q Store. There is a shuttle that will come right to your site and take you to the store or casino or hotel or golf course. It is free for one night if you join their players club (free to join). they have 20, 30 and 50 amp and water and a dump station. Go to your site, set up, fid the number. Then go to the casino and get a players card. Then go register. Free for one night. Clean with some road noise. Very easy to get to. It is essentially a concrete parking lot with marked spots and hook-ups. Perfect spot for us. Good useable WiFi.
