On a tent camping road trip and needed a place to camp and get cleaned up, away from the crazy of Rushmore.. Host were nice, gave a great rate for tent camping, and was away from all the RVs. Fronts a busy highway so you’ll hear traffic noise all night, but I’m good with that - I’ll be up and gone early.

Clean bathrooms, lots of hot water, and laundry is available. Good steakhouse right next door. Made for a good evening.

Stayed here on a cross country road trip in June, 2019. Stayed in the Tent sites which are in a field area. Campground was clean, quiet, not crowded. Probably wouldn’t consider it a destination, but it was a good overnight spot. Shopping close by. Showers good, bathrooms clean.

Stayed here 1 night during a 6week road trip. Friday night in mid July and was still able to walk in Early on a Friday and get a site.

Spacious sites - the portion of the loop that 99 was on seemed more elevated, dryer and more free of underbrush than many of the others. Nice baths and showers.

Loved being on Lake Michigan and Sheboygan is a pretty cool little town nearby with lots to do.

Can sort of hear the drone of the highway nearby, but it’s not too bad.

Stayed here 1 night in June, 2019 - Tent camping - Only 2 other people in the campground. Good cell coverage (ATT) - was able to upload image and surf easily.

Facilities were a little dirty, but I've seen worse in State parks. Good hot shower, which felt great after all the rain I've seen in the past few days in this region.

Nice, new, clean park on a small reservoir. Navigation through Apple maps seemed endless but got me there. Arriving from Richmond, IN on I70. All sites have water and electric; no discount for a tent camper, which would be nice and no tent-only sites.

Walked in late on a Wednesday night in June and got a site - only about 5 sites occupied. This week was in the middle of a long period of extended rain with lots of local flooding, but sites were pretty dry considering...

Hosts and staff were courteous and friendly.
