This is a very pretty campground but is ridiculously expensive. Booking online, the $25.00 electric only site ended up adding in taxes, a $4.00 non-resident fee and an $8.50 “booking fee”. Upon arrival we had to pay an additional $12.00 “entrance fee” which was not mentioned either at recreation.gov site or on the park’s website.
To add insult to injury, the only bathhouse is down a very steep hill which was impossible for my 86 year old husband manage. We had to unhook the car and drive to the bathhouse, something we were not going to do since this was just a one night stay.
We will definitely never stay here again. We are certainly not happy campers!

This is a wonderful campground, reasonably priced, friendly owners/hosts. This is the only RV Park in the area that is open year round. Gravel roads and sites but mostly level. Bathrooms/showers immaculate with heat and plenty of hot water. Washers and dryers available.
The new owners (3 years ago) completely redid an old rundown RV Park and are very proud of their accomplishments as well they should be.
We stayed in the dead of winter with temps in the single digits. There were only about 6 others staying here. Some seem to be long term campers.
Would definitely stay here again.

The only reason I would stay here again is because in Hattisburg there are not many actual RV parks to choose from. This one has lots of trees and seems to be filled mostly with permanent residents. The WiFi is so slow that it is basically unusable especially in the evening. The “Christian” woman (there’s a framed statement in the office about it being a Christian place) at the desk was not in the least bit friendly and very begrudgingly let us stay past the checkout time to attend my sister-in-law’s funeral. It’s a nice enough park I suppose but the experience with the woman at the desk left a bad taste in my mouth. We were told where the bathrooms were but were not told we needed a code to use them. It was only after the office closed that we realized a code was needed. Our site was close to the highway and there was a lot of highway noise.

Nice breezy spot. Very nice owner. FREE LAUNDRY, clean showers and restrooms. We were given a double space for our 17’ trailer. Near highway with a pretty tree, picnic table, fire pit with free firewood. Cost is now $45 instead of the $28 in the information section.
Just 5 miles from customs.

This Park Is predominately Long Term Residents. While the restrooms were nice, they certainly were not clean. It appears (from reading signs from the management) that they have had an issue with the residents leaving the place “disgusting “. We were put between two huge 5th wheel trailers and it was so close we couldn’t extend our all awning . Staff is friendly and price is reasonable

One of the worst campgrounds we have been in. The sites are very close together, row upon row. The electric post is in the middle between two campsites and is so far away it was impossible to reach without an extension cord, which should have been noted on the park’s website. The showers were adequate but did not provide any bench or chair and the water in the handicapped shower ran freely over the area where you dress. On top of that it was expensive for what you got. Will not go back. If I had known there were three COE campgrounds nearby we would have stayed at one of them.
This place has been around for years! It is by far the best BBQ that Texas has to offer and very reasonably priced. Don't miss it!
