Its worth a stop. The views were absolutely amazing. Especially for a city girl like me. And you can drive most the way up if you don't have time for a hike. The views are still incredible without having to get on the hiking trail.

Stayed at a tent site for the third stop in my trip and it was by far the best camp site so far. It had amazing bathrooms and showers, electricity, free wifi, a small pool, grills, and it was only 15$ for the night. It was exactly what we were looking for.

We got there pretty late and were accommodated in a beautiful tent site right by the water. It was a gorgeous view to wake up to and for the first stop on our road trip it was perfect. The man who runs it is very friendly. The showers aren't the best.

Went at the beginning of September and the bats were so amazing. They came out like clockwork right after the sunset. It is definitely worth a stop. Austin is amazing.
