We stayed at the Hilton Garden inn, Amarillo Texas August 15,2021. We WERE NOT told upon arrival that there was a huge security issue ongoing. Five thefts in the past week in the parking lot. Also
We WERE NOT told upon arrival that there were NO SECURITY CAMERAS ON THE PROPERTY. We just so happened to park in the spot closest to the front door, backed in and under a huge light. However We woke up the next morning to our yeti box and tent being stolen from the bed of our truck with all of our camping supplies inside.

Our desk clerk, Acacia, was extremely nice and apologetic.She was the one who informed us of all the robberies, her wallet included, and that there no security cameras on site. She even told us the desk clerk at checkin WAS SUPPOSED to warn us and have us lock up our valuables. I wish he would have. Because now we are out of almost $1000 worth of merchandise and my fathers irreplaceable knife.

We asked Acacia to call the manager. And Cameron, the manager, came. She has been of no help. Only offered a couple points to my Hilton account.

We left the hotel and I called Hilton customer service. Spoke with a lady who started our case. This hotel is owned by a company in India. Please choose another hotel. This Hilton knows they don’t have cameras and don’t protect their guests. Zero customer service.
