Most recently discovered cave in the area. Small cave but great tour guides and a good price! A must see.
Who knew Mammoth Cave had such an interesting history?? Swing by the Old Guides Cemetery and monument before entering Mammoth Cave to get acquainted with those who discovered and profited from the cave. This cemetery serves as a burial site for the man (slave) who discovered the cave system as well as Tuberculosis patients that were “treated” in Mammoth Cave long ago.
Easy hike down to the falls. Cool cave to climb in underneath! Fall was small this time of year but still a sweet hike. Didn’t see anyone the whole hike down and back. Parking is on the street nearby, you should see a brown sign! Location is off on this app.. use below

$5/tent camping. Pay by envelope in front. Only 6 sites, all first come first serve. River access at parking area below campgrounds. Each site comes with picnic table, tent pad, and fire ring!
A great stop on our road trip! Open even if listed online that it is closed. Cool view tower and AMAZING bird rock glyph! Insane that it was built so long ago and has been preserved so well.
Very well maintained park and historical site! Easy to park and access all mounds and museum paints a great picture of the history of the area and Native peoples. Recommend stopping here! Free to access mounds and museum.
Peaceful and serene stop on our road trip. Very well maintained. Great photo spot and cute duckies and turtles! Also, very clean restrooms which is a plus. 10/10 would recommend stopping here!
Visiting Popeye and his garden was a nice stop on our long road trip. Beautiful garden, gazebos, and fountain! Location on this app is a little bit off, but you’ll find the fountain across from the Police Station.
Right next to someone’s home and felt like we were driving on their property, but nice memorial! Looks like the foundation for the old dance hall is set in the ground behind the memorial. Cool spot!
