It’s a parking lot as previous review but so much nicer than other parking lot options. Great views! It’s literally the ski parking lot for Silver Mountain Resort. The rate is unreal! Across the street you can eat and have a cocktail sitting by the fire!

Access easy, nice pet area, large parking spots and pretty cool view along with historical information.

This campground was great! Nice pull thru sites with room to maneuver our 45’ Motorhome. Landscaping beautiful and their dog park was perfect for our two dogs. So much room for them to get their exercise and a nice shady area with chairs for us adults! Upon check in our dogs received two nice size bones, which they thoroughly enjoyed! Close to food and the cave! Great spot!!

Staff very friendly! You’re only a mile from park entrance and a quick 15 minute drive to Cortez. We even went to Durango for the evening after we arrived. Our 45’ Motorhome wouldn’t have made it to Durango because of parking so I’m glad we took the car. Took two tours at Mesa Verde, Balcony and Cliff House, which we’re awesome and you can do in one day. If possible, go to the tourist office and buy your tickets in advance. Not necessary but it’ll help choose your specific time.

Large gravel sites. Playgrounds. Open or woodsy areas to choose from depending on your desire.

A hidden gem off the 82 where there are gorgeous trees surrounding you! Gigi is a wonderful host. Picnic tables are in great condition where you can play dice or cards after dinner. We have 45’ with truck in tow and no problem found driving to our site. Can’t go wrong! Close to downtown historic area, too!

There was no problem with our 45’ class A towing a truck for a pull through site! Celebrated our anniversary having a great time meeting wonderful people! Soo many restaurants and a quick walk across the bridge there’s more and you’re in North Dakota! Great history! Myra was very helpful in the office, too! Biking and walking paths too!

We only stayed one night due to our limited time but this place has so much to offer. Nice sites and our 45’ Motorhome did very well. Discount applies because we have the park pass. Although the $20 rate was a deal, too.

Great staff and it’s good to stop for the evening. They’ll make sure all is good for you.
