Stayed here with my boyfriend for one night. It was located in a great place such that it was near almost every nice spot in the vicinity. Twin Gables is a charming old home with simple and lovely rooms for their guests. The one that we had was a large room with eclectic designs and has its own private bath. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were really soft. Breakfast was good even though it was just the typical stuff; granola, some muffins, fresh fruits and yogurt. Service was nice, too. The staff always made sure that we were getting the things that we need. A friendly place to stay at.

Upon entering the hotel, a really fun and quirky receiving area will welcome you. It has this awesome vintage vibe to it. The room which we had was really cute, too! The little details made me fall in love with the place even more. Our kitchen had a fridge, a microwave, stove and all the little necessities that were really helpful. So within our two nights stay here, we brought in food from the nearby farm and cooked our dinners ourselves. The bedroom was really cozy, too!The sheets were smooth and soft. And as a big plus, the big river and the mountains are just a short walk away. Majestic views are just waiting for you outside.

This was a great find in a secluded spot. We stayed at a Double Deluxe room which included a kitchenette and a cute little kitchen table. Nothing fancy, but the place was definitely perfect for those who are looking for a comfortable yet affordable lodging area. It was simple and well-kept. The staff were great and even gave us some advice on where to go hiking within the surrounding areas. There are also a number of good restaurants near the place. So if you would want to try something else for dinner, have a walk outside and give these restaurants a visit.

Having heard all the buzz about this restaurant, my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. It was just so sad that we were expecting so much from it. Well, the staff were friendly, approachable and warm to their customers, which was really nice. But the food was just overrated. They were not appetizing at all. We had the smoked oysters and the captain's platter. The seafood was plain and bland. It also has this taste like it has been just frozen for so long. The place in itself was untidy, too. Wouldn't recommend eating here.

We decided to give this place a try after our visit to our relatives in Nashville. After all, we got nothing to lose. It was featured on Man vs. Food, so we assumed that the food here is great. The menu was nice but we were kind of expecting more from it. We had the ribs and beef brisket. Both were tender, juicy, and delicious. But they were more of ordinary than special to me. We also had the catfish tacos. They were loaded with tasty fillings which made us enjoy this unique dish more than expected. Decent bbq place all-in-all.

Went here with a friend for a little stop. There was so much to see in this place. We never thought we'd enjoy the district so much. There were lovely galleries all over. There were also a variety of shops that sell cute and artsy trinkets. The vintage botiques were also a feast for the eyes. We just wanted to enter them all. You could just feel the classic vibe that this strip has. After lots of walking, there are lots of restaurants to choose from for a nice meal. There are also pubs to go to if you would want to go in for a little drink.

We visit this city park every once in a while. In every visit, we always bring our dogs with us. It is a nice place to have a walk with your furry friends. There are large, beautiful oaks surrounding the area. Lots of trees that can give you shade throughout your stay. Moreover, the houses around the area were very pleasant to the eyes, too. The homes were classic and lovely. Last but not the least, the center fountain was such a beauty! This is a very nice place to wander through!

If you have spare time, this would be a nice place to visit. It's basically a house that looks like a castle. We had the quick tour which were guided by fairly nice staff. They were friendly and all but it didn't seem like they wanted to entertain their guests the right way. I meant it like they just toured you around but they were never into answering your queries about the castle. The place was interesting in itself but not really worth the price.

On our first visit here, we had the Cuban buffet. Everything that they served was really scrumptious. There was a wide variety of delicious tasting food. It was probably one of the best buffets that we've been to. It was fairly priced, too! Sadly, when we went back here just recently, we have learned that the buffet was already closed. They still had the cafe, though.. which was okay. I had the breaded steak while my friend who was with me tried their Cuban toast. Both were delicious and fresh. We also had the mango shake which was really tasty and refreshing. Food was great but the buffet was still better.

Being a breakfast person, I have always loved visiting Dottie's. Their selections are just heavenly. I personally believe that they serve the best pancakes in town. Blueberry cornmeal pancakes is a favorite! For the newcomers, I suggest that you order the items on their specialty menu. They do them very well. Fennel sandwich scramble with fries and toast with pepper jelly is the bomb! The combination of textures is just amazing and the flavors are surely to burst in your mouth. The servings are big and definitely worth the price. Will always come back to this inviting place.
