Great place in San Francisco for American (Traditional) fare. Not only do you get to munch on great food but the atmosphere is awesome and very inviting. It was also featured on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in the 6th season!
Being a breakfast person, I have always loved visiting Dottie's. Their selections are just heavenly. I personally believe that they serve the best pancakes in town. Blueberry cornmeal pancakes is a favorite! For the newcomers, I suggest that you order the items on their specialty menu. They do them very well. Fennel sandwich scramble with fries and toast with pepper jelly is the bomb! The combination of textures is just amazing and the flavors are surely to burst in your mouth. The servings are big and definitely worth the price. Will always come back to this inviting place.
I used to go here years ago. Their pancakes and hash were really good. It looks like they've redecorated the inside. Looks nice.
