What a wonderful piece of history. We toured the house and got to turn the light on in the lighthouse. Great views of the area. Beautiful gardens surrounding the lighthouse. A must see in Cape May.
Great location in Cape May. Our ocean view room (3rd floor) was overlooking the promenade and beach. Great restaurants and shopping in walking distance including the Washington Street Mall. Our room was very clean, and the pool looked so inviting (too cold when we stayed). They have a bar and food next to the pool area.
The Ham & Pineapple Pretzel was AMAZING! Cute shop in town. The owner were so friendly and talked to us about the history of Casey. Loved It!
I love this unique boutique hotel! It’s located right downtown in walking distance to all the Big Things Small Town in Casey, Illinois. We loved the decor and bought cute pajamas to photograph our nights at the ‘sleepover’. We can’t wait to go back!
We stopped to check this Lodge for our next time coming to the area. Driving through the Brown County State Park to get to the lodge was beautiful. We found that the lodge had a wonderful small water park for children. It was dated, but nice.
Minnestrista, located in Muncie, Indiana is the location of the Ball Family. It shows the progression of were they lived and the Ball Glass factory. It was very informative. The new attraction here is the Bob Ross Experience. One of the Ball homes became WIPB tv station that was the recording studio for the Bob Ross show. You can tour this location as well as the Oakhurst house (another one of the Ball homes) It was only $15 to see everything, we loved it.
This hotel is stunning! The atrium is so beautiful and there is lots of history here. The trolley will take you to the French Lick resort or in town so you never need to move your car and you can now have that extra glass of wine! Its well worth the money! I wish I could have gotten some Pluto water.
This place is great. Its actually the Wilstem Animal Safari Park. They have 6 different animal encounters to chose from. We opted for the drive thru animal safari. We had a great time and the staff was wonderful!
A beautiful park to explore. We had a great time stopping here on our roadtrip. The labyrinth was great, we stretched our legs walking round and round, then sat on the swings for some relaxation. Loved it!
This is an epic roadtrip stop! It is located at their home so you must call for a reservations. We had the privilege of painting layer 27,563 on the Largest Ball of Paint. Mike made the experience so wonderful with his stories of how this all started. I highly recommend you stop here and get your certificate. It is no charge, but we paid for a t-shirt and for there lunch for the day. Thanks Mike, we Loved it!
