Just one of those stops that you have to make. I was surprised that there were other people there. He seemed pretty popular. We took our pictures and continued on.
We stopped and took our picture with Paul and explored Atlanta. Cutest little library right down the street. Note that the GPS coordinates were a little off but you can’t miss him.
The woman at the counter was nice but there wasn’t much to see. It’s 1 large room with Knick knacks.
Impressive to say the least. We visited Lincoln’s tomb as well as the war memorials. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. There were restrooms right next to parking lot for Lincoln’s memorial. Great place to stop and read for a bit.
We had such a great stop in Pontiac. The people were very nice and there is a lot to see. We probably could have spent 3+ hours here if we had stopped and seen everything.
