The history of the carousel is fascinating. Drop by read about how the carousel came to be, and talk to Burt. And be Sue to buy his book!

The quarry is only accessible via a nearly 10 mile gravel road. Be aware that if you are driving a front wheel drive car, or it has rained recently, the road may be impassible. The quarry itself is small with a few miles of trails that are not well labelled.

Great little airport for flying to/from Moab or Green River via United or Delta.

Do not miss this opportunity. While the road is gravel it is very wide in most places. Great views! Continue on to Rt95 for one of the most spectacular drives in the U.S.!

Expensive, cheesy entertainment, and the view is no better than what you can see from the road.

Well worth the drive and price of admission. Where else can you see an actual meteor impact crater, along with part of the meteorite that created it! Very informative tour along the crater rim, as well as multiple viewing stands to see the crater from different angles.
