This place has a painfully small beer selection and a really awkward layout. It's a great place to see music, but I wouldn't go here for anything else.
This place has a great atmosphere and a solid menu. Somehow the service has always seemed a little sluggish and forgetful, but friendly.
This place hosted a ton of great nights for me. Good food with a fun college atmosphere. The new location is nice but it's almost strange to see an ancient landmark in a fresh new place. Definitely the best place in town to get a burger after midnight.
Paintball Hill is by far the best paintball spot in town. They have a variety of fields for game types, friendly staff, and equipment on hand to rent or purchase. Great for group activity for any age. Be sure to cover as much skin as you can as the paintballs, wilderness, and sliding you'll inevitably do will not be forgiving.
This is the most beautiful garden in Lexington. It's right next to campus and has almost 2 miles of paved path for your recreation, which makes it a great spot for running. It's also perfect for picnicking, reading, or just soaking up some horticulture.
This is a great space for spending time, small gatherings, and the special events they host. Some of the best views in the city. There's plenty of space for whatever park activity you dream up, unless there's a private event in progress. Hiking trails are also a lot of fun.
A great place for enjoying a drink and hanging out for awhile. It's also a cool venue for local artists, musicians, and more. Their WiFi was too dodgy to get anything done during the afternoon, but besides that it's a perfect work/study oasis.
Here's the bad news first -- Pazzo's is plagued by sluggish and borderline rude service.
The good news -- that doesn't keep it from being awesome. Their location is perfect for anyone spending time on UK's campus. The pizza, the seating, and the beer selection make this place my favorite pizza spot in the area. They've also got a great lunch deal for a big slice.
This place has a fantastic menu. Everything I've tried is good, the service is great, and the decor is quite interesting.
Some of the seating inside is a little cramped, but breakfast on the patio can't be beat!
This place is a blast! All the information and animals of a real zoo, with that zany Ripley's edge to the layout. They do a great job keeping those fishy smells at bay, too.
