The GPS took me to a dead-end dirt road and an abandoned shack. Needless to say I turned around and left lol. Guess I should have read these reviews first, which say that the roadside museum is at the intersection of US Hwy 431 and Silver Run Dr.
Really enjoyed my stay! I visited in mid-August and nearly had the place to myself! Their campgrounds are very clean and easy to use. Every camper gets two wristbands that are pool passes, and the lodge has a restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff (food was decent). My only disappointment was that I arrived late in the day and wanted to hike a trail before sunset. I got a map from the lodge and spoke to 3 different staff about taking a trail on the map, and when I went to take the trail I realized that the map had not been updated. Rather than risk getting stuck in Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge after dark, I didn't take the trail. So if you visit and want to take a trail, ask if the map is up to date, or only go if you're confident you will make it back before sunset! Otherwise, you really can't go wrong staying here.
