In May 2018, We found this campground to be quite comfortable- quiet and flat, with lots of shade trees. The numbering of the sites was confusing- as #34 was no where near 32 or 31... but folks are helpful- and we got settled in.
Getting to the campground inside the larger Lakepoint Resort was a bit of a struggle- the Resort map was a guide, but was not a perfect resource. Ask for help.
The RV sites were level and close together- but since it was not crowded- I enjoyed the stay.
Bath and restrooms were fine.

Beautiful Nature Camping, with fishing, favorite thing all the nature, we saw squirrels, chipmunks, cardinals, duck, geese, deer, alligator. There are nice Big Rig RV full hookups, also RV hookups without sewer available, peaceful area for walks or bicycles, not good cell service in RV Location my Verizon had mostly 1 bar, sometimes 2 bars, same for hubby’s T-Mobile, and no internet. On the website, the rates are $29, hubby did work camping painting offices and pool area donating $4,000 worth of his normal pay hours for 41 days of free camping (Tip take your dog to the abandoned fenced tennis court and close gate for an off leash run) They have Lodge rooms and Cabins

Camped here for 3 nights in the Barbour loop. The sites are a little close together for my liking but it wasn’t too bad. We rode through all the loops and all seemed about the same. Clarke loop does have a lake view and a boat ramp. Deer court is the full hookup section. The only site that I have noticed that I wouldn’t recommend is BL 36, it is a back in site and there is a ditch that is just past it and looks like it could make it tough for backing. The only real bad thing we have encountered is there are lots of ants and learned the hard way that it may not hurt to keep some insect killers with us. Cell service was good enough to stream tv apps with only minor interruptions occasionally.

We camped here while avoiding hurricane Dorian. We were surprised that there was availability just 3 days before Labor Day weekend, but were pleased to find a spot. Check in was at the marina a good half mile from the campground. Our site was clean with easy slanted site for backing in. We had a relatively new picnic table at the site, but no campfire ring or barbecue. Some of the others had one or both. Electric and water were on the wrong side of the rig, but this didn’t really pose a problem. Sites are large and space far apart, I’d estimate 60-90 feet apart in Barbour loop (I paced 28-30 steps from driveway to driveway). Several campers came in Friday night and Saturday morning, but it still didn’t fill up. It probably would during the spring bass tournament.

There are 3 loops, Barbour, Clark’s and Deer Cove. Deer cove has full hookups with large pull throughs, the other 2 have water and electric only. Clark’s and Deer Cove have lake front sites and boat launches. Roads and camping pads are asphalt. The bathrooms were clean but unremarkable.

Swimmers are cautioned that there are alligators in the lake. There is a pool at the main resort that is open to campers.

This is a large park that was fairly empty during our stay in February. It’s a beautiful wooded campground which is part of a larger resort. The campground is completely secluded and away from the lodge and marina. Asphalt is in poor condition but sites are level. Other than that it is a beautiful place to stay.
Deer Court is full hookup. The other two loops don’t have sewer and the sites are generally shorter. Barbour Loop asphalt is in the poorest condition but looks like a great place for tent camping. Will definitely return.

Went here with the family for a week at the end of February. Everyone we dealt with was super nice. The RV park has an activity center where they have events through the month. The views are really nice and the grounds have been maintained pretty well. The full hookups in Deer Court were super convenient. The sites are level in the middle and a decent size. We tow a 32’ foot travel trailer with a Ford Expedition and had plenty of space. It was also super quiet in the park, at least when we stayed.

Now some of the rough parts. The roads in the RV section haven’t been maintained in a while. Potholes and rough spots everywhere. The parking pads are also designed where the water drainage runs in front of and behind each site down to the lake. Now that it’s a bit older the water pools up in these spots. The back part of my spot where the hookups are located were just covered in mud. The bathrooms also need some TLC. They seem to be clean but the inside has some repairs needed. In the men’s restroom there is a section of wall with plywood over it for some reason. Also, the ads showed pictures of a nice playground but it’s not at the rv park, that one is over near the marina. The one at the rv park is just a set of swings.

I read a review that said this park would be perfect for anglers but not for families and I would say that is a perfect description. We probably will return someday but probably not for an entire week.

We decided to camp here after our day trip to Providence Canyon in GA. The campground is huge with many offered amenities. Our site was in Clarks Loop. Easy access to the water for boaters and bathrooms/showers close by. We saw a small gator and good sized snake by the water while exploring, but that is expected for the area. We didn't do much exploring besides by the water and our site. We would stay again and check out more of the parks offerings.

Park for my husband and I was great. Full hookups, cheap, park pad was fairly level, fire ring, lots of trees, laundry building, fish cleaning station, boat launch, trails, bath house, paved roads for bike riding and was about 49 minutes from Providence Canyon.
Spotty antenna tv and data coverage which was fine for us we just threw in a dvd.
We arrived after hours, they close at 4, but had given me the gate code and lot #during the reservation check in. It was a little difficult to locate the actual campground but we got it.

We were lucky enough to be there for Lake Eufaula’s Pro Bass Fishing Tournament. The park had 3 campgrounds you could choose from. Our campground had W/E/S. We were in a section of pull through sites and the way they were situated you could not see your neighbors. We did not take advantage of the bathhouse, restaurants or marina, so I can not say how they were. We did use the laundry facility, the machines are on the newer side, $1.50 for washers and $1.25 for dryers. However, the facility could use a good cleaning. The last couple of days we were there, dump truck loads of dirt were being brought in. We heard the hiking trails were being turned into something you could run golf carts or ATVs on and this is the reason we would probably not come back. We thoroughly enjoyed the trails, and I feel this would be detrimental to the wildlife there. Going back to the pricing per night that is an average of our 14 days there. It was 21.25 a night except for weekends 25.00, then you had a reservation fee and 43.75 in different taxes. For those of you who come from a state with low sales tax, theirs is 9.5% and they tax everything.

I always resent having to reserve 2 nights because we need a stopover that happens to fall on a Friday or a Saturday. The price isn’t bad. The sites are not stacked on top of each other. The sewer receivers at the sites are almost a foot above the ground, and our drains are only 9”… so we had to use the dump station method.

Stay away from the fish cleaning station near the bathhouse in the Deer Court loop, unless you have no sense of smell. The “playground” is a swing set. The pool is a couple of miles back past the marina, and it has perpetual water spouts shooting over the shallow end preventing any relaxation with a child. Alligators ARE present, so forget about using the “beach” that is kind of grown over with grass anyway.

The location makes this an okay stopover if you do not have young children to entertain. Two nights was a bit much for us.
