We stopped by Elephant Rocks State Park on our trip to see the Johnson Shut-Ins and Taum Sauk State Parks. The rocks were a good chance to climb up to get some amazing views of the mountains.
We went to the Taum Sauk Mountain State Park along with the Johnson Shut-Ins State Park and Elephant Rock State Park. All of them were an awesome chance to get out and see the natural wonders of Missouri. The Mina Sauk Waterfall was not running during our visit since it hasn't rained lately, but the hike on the rugged terrain was still fun.
We loved viewing the grounds and the house. While the tour was a bit pricey, I would do it again in the off season to be able to see everything in more detail. The crowds were bearable and the weather beautiful. My wife and I split the audio speaker some, but we quit using it halfway through since it was more of a distraction.
