Awesome food and wine here. Try the ostrich satay.
Rent the Steep Ravine Cabins extra early--months in advance!
Crazy place for picture taking and so surreal to hike around this park. If your up for it, bring some costume-like pieces and props for some insane looking selfies!
Can only say amazing things about this gorgeous park and its surrounding area.
Swam, or rather floated, here through Antelope Island SP and I'll have to admit it was pretty gross. Maybe it was just the season (summer), but there were millions of little flies both dead and alive and the shoreline water was frothy and kinda nasty. Wish I had chosen to take a boat out into the center of the lake instead--avoid the shore and the bugs by taking a boat and jumping off to swim/float.
If you're near Salt Lake, don't miss this gorgeous wildlife-infested park and swim in the great salt lake or view all the hoards of migrating birds.
One of my favorite trails in WA. Usually quiet (rarely have run into other hikers) and always stunningly beautiful.
Soooo picturesque and incredible to view. You can buy tulips/bouquets at each of the farms along the way. There are also loads of daffodils that occur before the tulips come, so if you're early in the weeks of the festival you can view those as well. There are workers here that yell at you if you go beyond like 6 feet into the tulip rows, so realize that you won't be able to walk down the fields through the flowers.
Worth the semi-hefty bill. One of the best meals of my life and certainly the most memorable. Looks like an old mini castle and sits above the water. Romantic setting, phenomenal food, and great wine.
SUCH gorgeous hiking trails!
