Quiet low traffic dispersed sites along USFS road through a scenic canyon. Some sites are right next to Pass Creek. Great place to launch trips through both Big Lost River and Little Lost River areas. No cell access. Some fire rings.

This is our second stay here; we stopped last year about the same time returning home from time in warmer climes. Friendly and helpful staff. Level gravel spacious sites. A little pricey considering this is likely their off season (and park was only about a third full) but not out of line with other parks in town. Excellent wifi.

In the middle of staying here to visit grandchildren in nearby Henderson. Normally we stay at the Las Vegas Bay NPS campground, but because of heat (highs in the 100s) we decided to get a place with hookups so we could run the AC. The campground is laid out very well with good spacing between most of the sites. (Some of the sites are set up with tandem hookups, which are a little more crowded. Not sure how they determine who gets which sites.) Roads are asphalt, camping areas are gravel. Very clean. Excellent help by staff; we came in late on a Sunday night, well after their normal office closing at noon, yet one of the caretakers found an office person to help us locate a site and check in. It isn't particularly scenic, but that's not what we're staying here for. Rate reflects weekly rate, which I think is a great value. WiFi was pretty much worthless, but had incredible broadband speed.

Nice location; close to Henderson, but still out of the city. Pretty dismal surroundings; dried up Lake Mead. Sites are a bit short so you need to be very selective about what you choose. Best feature is the price. Campground is clean, but could use some refurbishing. Sites are pretty level.

We pulled in late on a Saturday night after the office was closed (and it is also closed on Sunday, which we think is great!) Found an available spot, paid the night's rate (GS discount) and rested well. Campground was fairly dry, so dirt/grass campsites were pretty rustic looking, but it had been a long, hot, and dry summer. Everything was clean. Sites were spaced well with lots of trees in certain parts Site was level; we just pulled in and didn't bother to disconnect for the night. Quiet place, lots of stars (which was a pleasant surprise because the campground is pretty much in this middle of this small town). Owners are to be congratulated for running a nice spot. Didn't use WiFi. Lots of water pressure (probably should have used regulator!) Would love to come back in the Spring when everything is greener.
