Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on March 10, 2023This is a fairly new park. Pull through sites were plenty long enough for our 40 ft 5th wheel and very wide. The lanes between the rows were also very wide so the park is easy to get in &out. Owner was very friendly and helpful. The park is located on the edge of town within short walking distance of national park visitor center, restaurants, and shopping.
Free WiFi signal was strong and we got excellent cell reception.

J & J RV Park has several advantages – the pull-through sites are long and wide, the paved road is very wide, and the wifi is excellent. The back-in sites along the perimeter aren’t quite as spacious, but still adequate for most sized rigs. The RV sites are full hook-up with 30-50amp. There is a bathroom/shower house and a small off-leash dog run. The owners are super friendly and helpful. On the downside, this is a new park and the trees are shorter than I am, so don’t look for shade or privacy.
Parking surface is large gravel and no ground fires are allowed, but I think you can borrow a portable firepit from the hosts. The grounds were spotless and the owners are continually working to improve the park. The back-in spots are a few dollars cheaper. The park also offers a Good Sam discount.
Another plus is its proximity to the Kanab BLM office where the lottery for permits to visit Coyote Buttes North (and the famous Wave formation) takes place each morning at 9am. It was an easy walk and while we struck out on the Wave, I’d highly recommend hanging out for the 10am lottery for Coyote Buttes South. The same number of permits are issued (10), but there were only 12 people competing for them the day we tried. Your chances are very good and Coyote Buttes South is fantastic! We hired a local guide (Mike Henrie, Kanab Western Adventures) since we didn’t have the required high-clearance 4WD and it was money well spent. He drove us out and we spent over 5 hours hiking the Cottonwood Cove area. Mike has hiked the area many, many times and his enthusiasm was infectious. We saw amazing formations – including a rainbow wave! – that we probably never would have found on our own.
We decided not to take our mastiff, Riley, on the South Coyote Buttes excursion. Since the trip was 10 hours long total, we contacted Lori McGraw at All Creatures Great & Small pet sitting service. She came by twice during the day to give Riley some playtime and potty breaks. A great local resource if you’re traveling with pets who aren’t up for an all-day hike. We also had an excellent dinner at Rocking V café so that’s another local establishment we’d recommend.
We had 5 bars of Verizon 4G, but we saved our data and used the excellent wifi.

Large, level, gravel sites. Big, wide, black top driveway makes it nice coming in. Grounds are immaculate. Each site equipped with a picnic table. Wish they had fire rings. Bathrooms appear to be very clean but didn’t use them. Owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Fenced in dog area is a huge plus. WiFi is strong. Great location. Would definitely stay again.

This is the perfect park for larger RV's and those with rooftop satellite. The park is brand new and has only been open since Sept. There aren't any trees to block your dish. The road is paved and wide so it is easy to get parked. A no frills park with just the basics which we love. There are two rows of back-ins and the center row is pull throughs. Sites aren't huge but plenty wide enough with a picnic table at each and very level. There are also four tent sites. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We had lots of rain during our visit and extended out stay five times. They were very patient and moved people around so we didn't have to move. Conveniently located on the edge of town and and easy walk to the grocery store, True Value, restaurants, and the GSENP Visitor Center where they hold the Wave lottery.
WiFi was very good.

Friendly staff with quick check-in and knowledgeable about the area. Sites are spacious enough for our 40 ft motor home with tow. You don’t feel so cramped in your site. WiFi was good. There is no shade or cable tv. We did get a few tv channels just from our antenna. Showers were ok with only a thin curtain between them. There is a fenced pet area. Overall a clean and comfortable park.

We had a very nice visit to J&J RV Park! We had a very spacious site that had a picnic table and was able to accommodate our truck. There are 32 back in sites around the perimeter of the drive and 13 pull through sites in the middle, as well as a few small tent sites on the end. The owners, Jeff and Julie, live onsite and were very friendly and helpful! Check in was super easy. There is a bath house, laundry room and grassy dog park towards the front of the campground. This is a newer park so the trees are very small still, bring your own shade. If you are interested in going to see "The Wave", you will need to enter a lottery daily in order to hike the next day. This office was conveniently located a couple of blocks down the street. We walked to it every morning until we finally were drawn for the hike. Worth the effort!! A few yummy restaurants down the street (we enjoyed Big Al's and Escobar's) and 2 nice grocery stores for supplies. Centrally located to so many things to do and at a great price.

Great Wifi. Lots of towers. We went down for the Balloon and Music Festival. Feb 13 -15, 2020. Awesome wifi, most of the park was very clean. They did have a dog park, but a lot of people were leaving their dog poop and not picking it up. Maybe it has just melted out of the snow?

Clean. Big RV Spots and good WiFi are the highlights. No frills but decent.
I think there are a couple better options in town.
We loved Kanab!
So visit and if this is the only place open it’s ok. You’ll still have a great time

There are several RV parks in the area, including one right across the street from J&J. It's clear that J&J is the newest of the bunch. The trees are new and landscaping overall hasn't "filled in." So it's a little more exposed to the elements if you're parked there. But everything is brand new. The hook-ups were all immaculate. Water pressure good. Electric hook-up wasn't sketchy. Just good, solid stuff. The layout is the simple racecourse, with back-ins along the sides of the oval and pull throughs in the middle. We stayed in a pull through, and there was plenty of room for our 30' rig and our Honda Fit toad right behind. The spacing between lots is average, I would say.
The best part is how friendly the folks are. The young man who signed us in was great. And when we asked if we could park our rig on site for part of the next day after (after check out time, but we had a tour we needed to do) he had NO issues. He founds us a nice, safe spot, and our rig sat there until about 3:30.
The lot is right on the main road and convenient to the heart of Kanab. Easy to access. Oh, we did not even try the wi-fi. My Verizon Hot Spot was so strong, it worked for our brief Netflix needs.
It's a simple place. There aren't pools and clubhouses. Just nice lots, nice people, restrooms & laundry facilities (we only saw from the outside) and that was certainly enough for our one night stay. When our travels bring us back to Kanab, we'll be back to J&J!

We stayed here for a week using this as a base to visit both the east side of Zion NP and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Price reflects the weekly rate for a 45 foot back in site.
New park, wide roads, clean park. Didn't use the on-site laundry or restrooms. The door to the laundry was frequently left open, temps were in the 90's when we were there so I would think the laundry room might be a little toasty once all the machines are running.
Verizon signal seemed a little sporadic, AT&T was good.
Trees have been planted but until they grow a bit, there's virtually no shade in the park.
Not really a destination park with lots of ammenities, but a good place to stay to explore the area.
