Definitely depends on the time of year. We came in early March, and there was hardly a trickle. Later, and wow!
Nice exhibit. Make certain to visit the nearby stream engine, too.
Very accessable public park. Leave your car in the Safeway parking lot, and walk around this and the scenic old town.
Beautiful. Difficult, short hike, if you have balance issues.
Very pleased with this hotel. Definitely modern and featuring the latest in technology.
Statue of the four young men who chose to sit at the Woolworth lunch counter, opening a new front on the civil rights movement. A small group of college students being given a tour visited whittle we were there
I love the restoration and preservation of iconic items from the past. BTW, I'm calling out the reference to the area being "sketchy."
OK, so not much of a reason to stop here, but also not too far out of the way.
Woody Guthrie seems to be all that Okemah, OK seems to have going for it, anymore. The tiny park is easy to find, and the parking is great, so this is prime visitin' for those interested in Americana.
A lot taller than 8'. In any case, it's worth stopping by, since you're already nearby, visiting the Cadillac Graveyard.
