I'll admit I was skeptical as to how awesome this place was.. When you arrive you park in the lot and walk through a short path and at first all you see is a small lake. Once you get to the edge you will realize that its not just a small lake. Its a massive spring with the clearest water I have ever seen!
There is a small raft with a wheel to pull you across. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS! you can look through the bottom and over the edges and see hundreds of fish swimming around and where the spring water comes up!
The upper falls in themselves are absolutely gorgeous! I came in september but I am imagining it gets pretty busy during the summer.
The walk to the falls is paved and there are a few viewpoints but make sure you go to the one at the top of the falls. It is by far the best view!
Absolutely loved this park!! The upper falls especially are absolutely gorgeous! The lower falls have an awesome campground inside them and there is a boat you can take to an island inbetween the falls that is Very cool!
From a photographers perspective make sure to bring that ND cause you are gonna fall in love with the long exposures possible at this spot!

The Sandia peak is a must do in Albuquerque! If you are hard core there is an amazing 9 mile hike from the bottom to the top that you can do and ride the tram back down!
The tram itself is a reason to do the peak! It is an amazing view and there is a solid restaurant at the top!
Highly recommend for amazing photos overlooking the city at night!
This is a beautiful park worth a sunrise wake up call! If you go at the right time you can go up in the lighthouse! I wasn't able to but was pleasantly surprised with the natural beauty in this area!
I've seen countless photos and have dreamed of shooting in here although no one has been inside for about a year now (without special permission) which is rather unfortunate!
Be careful if you decide to come here! When I first got here I was asked to leave multiple times by the security guard so we parked a few blocks away and snuck back in. Once inside we climbed all the way to the roof and while we were standing up here half of a wall fell all the way to the ground! So again.. On the ground or on the roof.. BE CAREFUL!
That being said it is an absolutely insanely cool place and is filled with cool surprised and is really big! Enjoy!
Solid campground! The staff was friendly, there is tons of space and the showers are good. Only reason it didn't get a 5 is you have to pay separately for wifi.
This building looks so cool!! Every single balcony is different and unique as the architect felt that every guest that came was unique!
The John Hancock tower is by far my favourite view in the city! Its not nearly as busy as the skydeck (sears/willis) so you can enjoy your time up there without being crowded the entire time! The staff are awesome! If you get a chance ask them about the days when it is stormy and they are watching lightning go off all around the city!
I can't say that I would recommend the tilt (for an extra 7$) but i'm a bit of an adventure junkie and it just wasn't as epic as I was hoping!
