I have lived nearby my whole life, worked in so called helltown 30 years ago, my husband has more recently, there is nothing strange about it, nothing spooky or ghostly, there are many bike riders in the summer months, hiking, a couple of restaurants, a nearby ski resort, it's just a small town, wherever this whole helltown thing came from I have no idea but if you are looking for something spooky you would be wasting your time, I have spent a lot of time here in Peninsula, there is nothing out of the ordinary, it is a nice area though.
