The steak and beer bread were amazing. The waitresses seemed nice, but not too bright? Dated decor and poor food presentation. Definitely on the pricey side, but still a good meal.
Nice little place to stop and stretch your legs. The ladies working the day I stopped by were the friendliest ppl I encountered during my trip. They were quite knowledgeable about local events and very courteous. Be sure to put a pin on the map if you stop by.
Not a lot going for it, but it is free. They do encourage you to make donations. There is literature on just about everything there, but no tours to speak of. The staff were friendly, but didn't really go out of their way to talk to you. They seemed busy with other things, to be fair. The Victorian home was interesting and there were a few interactive displays throughout the whole museum. Very kid friendly (maybe not the Victorian side?) Not a bad way to spend half an hour.
