Lots of interactive activities for the kiddies. Informative. Pretty cool.
This was 30 miles out of the way for me and I kept hoping it was going to be worth it the entire way. And it was. Someone is lovingly taking care of it and it shows. There are 20? Or so pieces of steel artwork here and very well done. Worth the detour to me
Not too far out of the way for a photo op.
Pretty much a souvenir shop, small display in the back. Nice people.
Rest up and plan the whole day here. I'm a fan of zoo's and the is the best by far. I recommend taking the tram from area to area. Be prepared for crowds. Simply the best.
Mostly paintings of local artists, small collection
On the day I went almost all of the animals were out of sight. The enclosures are overgrown with weeds. But if taxidermy is your thing, their collection of the worlds animals is impressive. Taxidermy is not my thing and I was not impressed.
The people here are lovely
Get off the hi way and take this to the badlands or black hills.
It's just before the entrance (or exit) of the badlands. If you do the loop, you can't miss it.
