This is now the Hukilau Hawaiian Restaurant. Service was slow. Food was good but brought out in strange order, we got our appetizer as we were finishing the main course. Many vegetarian options.

Very fresh, all organic food. Many selections of curries. Most dishes were $17-19. The thali trays were very filling and everyone took home leftovers. The owners were accommodating and friendly.

With it being off-season, not much to do around, we were mostly just sleeping for the night. The cabin was clean but had an undersized heater which was either on or off. So not much rest being too hot or too cold with the below freezing temps outside.

Kids had fun and saw lots of sea lions. Cost is expensive for a family of teens, since they all get charged adult prices($14). It was nice on a weekday to not worry about crossing Hwy 101, which is always scary. Be warned of the smell. Fudge is handmade with a variety of flavors.

Beautiful new tour which opened in 2018. Kids (ages 11-17) loved the hands on exhibits and watching the factory at work. The food portions at the restaurant were very large. I wish they had a better descriptive menu on portion sizes/contents. The cheese samples were a hit with kids, as an adult, I had hoped for some samples of their specialty cheeses. Spent about 2 hours which included lunch, tour and of course, an ice cream cone.
