Trail out from a rest area
Nice 1/4 trail out from a test area overlooking a lava flow. Nice high desert landscape.
Beautiful drive. We took it from Deadwood to Spearfish. A couple of waterfalls off the highway. Breathtaking.
Three iron crosses in the middle of a field with a couple of gravestones. A mile drive on a dirt road from the main road. Not worth a detour.
Very small no longer working fountain. Lake is pretty. Not worth a stop though.
Total hike up and down about 15-20 minutes. Nice view at the top of the peak. It is somewhat strenuous due to the incline. I’d love to see it in the fall.
Nice park and lake area. Kitschy statue but a nice place to stop to stretch your legs.
