World Equestrian Center is a very unique campground. Two huge RV lots are part of even bigger world class equestrian complex with lots of amenities and events. RV sites are quite minimalistic: quite narrow, no shade, but very well kept and clean. All campground sites are concrete back in and full hook up. No picnic tables or fire rings. The upper campground is nicer then the lower one. The upper campground has a picnic area. The campground is quite pricy, but totally worth it. We had lots of fun there. We stayed in Mountain View Campground in July, hiding their from Florida heat. Unfortunately, our stay was too short to enjoy this great Campground. It is located in a beautiful spot with gorgeous views. The owners (a very nice couple) have put a lot of effort to make their campground comfortable and fun spending time in. Beautiful luxury park with all of the amenities including club house, Olympic pool, gas fire pit, shuffle board with paved extra-large campsites! Highly recommend it. Elm Hill RV Resort is only 20 minutes-drive from downtown Nashville. The campground is pricey, but absolutely worth it. I was extremely thrilled with the 360-degree spectacular view from our site. I enjoyed every minute of our stay there. We were on one of the most picturesque sites - #19. Absolutely recommend staying there. Right from the entrance we were provided with the service which was absolutely in accordance to the resorts upscale rating and the paid price: we were met, escorted to the site, offered help with parking, the car dolly was taken to the storage. Everything was smooth and easy. Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort is a community of motorcoach owners. All sites are privately owned. The sited are beautifully shaded, nicely paved and landscaped. Amenities include tennis and pickle ball courts, pool, exercise room, playground, and even a doggie shower. There are plenty of roads to walk dogs inside the resort, as well as a nice bike trail right around the corner outside the resort. It is a great resort, but very pricy. Elkhart Campground is one of the biggest RV campgrounds in the area. It is very nice for an in-town-campground. Really nice owners, clean grounds, full hookups and sites had plenty of space. Fort McCoy KOA is probably a great place to stay for people who like off-roading. The trails of the Ocala National Forest were straight across the street from the camp entrance. For those who dont its not worth it. The camp was literally in the middle of nowhere. There was nothing to do or nowhere to go. However, as an overnight stop on the way from east coast to west coast Florida it worked well. We have a video about this campground on our YouTube channel - Summertime RV Rovers. We spent only one night in the campground and were very glad that it was only one night. We have two dogs. The campground is not dog friendly - there is no grass in the campground and no path walks outside the camp. At the time we were there, the campground's roads were very muddy. THe majority of the sites are seasonal and they are located in the upper nicer section of the campground. There are only few sites for temporary visitors, which are mostly located at the lower section of the campground, which has no grass and very dusty, surrounded by ugly fence. In spite of the campground's name, there is no views of any sort. We stayed in the Heritage Cove Campground in our Super C RV. It was a no thrill campground for us, but very pleasant, nicely wooded and with spacious sites. We booked a premium site, which, we thought, according to the map, was going to face a river, and it was, but the green color on the map did represent the greenery. The majority of the sites in the Heritage Cove are seasonal. However, the visiting RVers feel welcomed. The campground is great for boaters with access to lake and boat and kayak rentals. If you ever need an overnight pull through, full hook up, easy in and out campground, then, you should definitely consider Pierce Mobile Estates & Travel Trailer Park. Be aware that owner's dogs are running around without a leash. There is no facilities.
