Very large playground. Has a disc golf course. The best free splash pad in South Minneapolis. Free parking.
A very rustic area that is a prime spot for wild blueberry picking starting in mid July.
The beach here was beautiful. Nice sunset views. Found a little sandbar thst created a pool at low tide which was great for our toddler to swim in.
Short, quiet walk. Just good enough to stretch the legs a bit. We didn't see any gopher turtles. Free
Extremely nice place. Also pretty expensive. Nice pool area but closes pretty early. Easy beach access.
Not a beach to hang out at, stay on the ocean for that. Would probably be good if you're looking to do some kayak or SUP-ing. A bunch of jellies in the water when we were there.
This was a great hike. Easy hike at about a mile one way. Saw a small gator at the very end of the walk at the gator hole.
It's a fine place to stop and use facilities but the boardwalk hike isn't much. Supposedly it's a good gator spot but we didn't see any.
We hiked from Lincoln Park to Navy Pier. It was a nice easy walk. Some really nice beaches along the way as well as a couple trendy hot spots. A great way to spend an hour or two to get away from the madness other areas.
Place is crazy busy. Walking out to the end and looking into the lake is neat. There's a fountain just in front of the entrance that our 2 year old absolutely loved. Free to go on the pier but anything on it costs money.
