Came here for the Eclipse, Glendo was packed. Nice alternative and actually I liked it much more. Paved road to the "Gates" , stayed at Gate 7. A dirt road goes along the sites, not recommended for the Big Boys (rigs) so walk it or take a look before entering. Camping right on the edge of the water, semi-sandy beach. Can get a little windy at times, mostly a nice breeze. Site vary from big to smaller so it's Goldilocks choice, too big, too small, just right. Some activity on the water, jet ski, skiing, yaker's and fishing.

Biggest annoyance is having to hear the "Fish" jumping and the "Cows" munching.. heheh, just joking.. Nice place, Trash bins at entrance of gate, Closest "Dump N Fill" at Lewis City Park in Wheatland, a little tricky to get to, but they have the facilities.. Dump on main road and water at the bulletin board. They did close if for the Eclipse so you might consider a back up. Limited Free (donation appreciated) camping for a few days.
Stayed in a Truck Camper, friends had a 32' and 40+ 5th. Easy access directly to the sites, but the dirt road along the inside is a bit tricky. Main Camping area as you come down the main road at the beginning of the park.

Could be nice if you get a good spot. It was flooded in the lower campground loop. Several "On/above the River" sites or you can't see the river. Two loops, upper and lower. lower, albeit flooded a the time, looked to be the best ones. There's also a possible space at the top south of road, just wide open. Also, across on the West side looked to be some better spots. East side of dam is for tent campers, but small units might be able to go, dunno. Has Restrooms, showers, Dump N Fill. Able to walk to dam to watch the water flow..

Nice, a little out of the way, but clean. BLM land, dry with shade at the top ones, limited sizes on the ones in gully. Careful, sites are smaller below, might walk them first if in a Big rig. Top Pull Through sites should be fine. Nice view and the creek running in the gully. I didn't go up the forest road past the campground so no idea what's up there.
Watch your Nav as Google had it wrong, had if off of Hwy 50, not correct, reported and believed changed.

Nice lake, limited "Lake Sites", I lucked out. More sites on other side of road up on a plateau. Palm trees reminded me of Tropical stuff. Very nice. Little reefs creating a bay of sorts, not sure I'd go swimming in it, but nice to look at.

Was here in APR 2017
Nice little off the road campground with something to do. Dirt road was not bad at all, a little rough at times, but ok. Sites could use a little touch up here and there, paint, weeds, trimming etc. doesn't look like it gets much attention, but still works ok. Sites are a little small but manageable, leveling is a little tricky. Hike to point is short and sweet, not bad at all. Petro's are ok, a little hard to distinguish, but so is Graffiti which I call these the original Graffiti artists.
Hike up to the top of the hill was nice, terrific views both sides of hill. A lot of day use and one nighters.
Had a Snow Dusting in APR when there. No big deal, just a dusting.

I liked this spot. I was planning on just a "One Nite stand" but stayed for two. Nice and quiet, had Dump N Fills, water at spigots. with long hoses, not at the dump station. No direct hookups. Good Cell connections, thus the extra day to catch up.

Can't see the River, I didn't know it was there until walking up the road a little towards the highway. Some highway noise, but as noted in other posts, not bad at all.

Will keep it as a "Keeper" site for future stops along a way. Could have spent a few more days, but then I'd get 'Antsy' and want to move on.

I must say, the Camp Hosts were spectular, nice to have someone come out, greet and help when you first pull in. Very nice for change, Great Job All Y'all..

This was a las minute "One Nighter" on way to Craters of the Moon. Main dirt road is fine, well kept. Side roads to camping "Sites" location maybe not so nice, narrow and slow. There are a few area locations and like Goldilocks, some won't fit all.
I tried one or two of the first ones, but a little too jammed and didn't want to get stuck. Solo here. you can see the "One Holers" at the main location points. I found the one, and up on a small mound for a "Room with a View" Which was nice.

Now, the dark secret, Bugs... I'm finally learning why reservoirs are so good for fish. As Carl Sagan used say, "There are Millions of Millions...." of bugs. Non threatening other than just an annoyance. You can "Hear" them swarming.

I did have great, SID (Solar-Internet-DISH) so stayed several days, but with the bugs it was time to move on. Also, occasional Stagnant water smell would waffle through the area... not a big deal, passes in a few minutes. Bugs, were the main thing, sorta like gnats...

If you're trying find a campsite that's cheaper than the KOA, this will work. Only about 30 min to Devils Tower location and $10 ($5 with Old Geezer Pass). Small and larger sites, mostly treed, DISH if you find an opening, minimal solar.
Two loops, back one smaller sites mainly for car/tent camping. I was in the site just past the camp host and just barely fit, don't remember but #7? maybe. And, not sure about Verizon connections, believe it was weak.

I was looking for a place near Casper, WY and discovered this one. Paved road to the campground, small 2 lane or large 1 lane. Right on the river. Only a few sites have a "Room with a View" of the river, otherwise pretty much "Bush Camping" (staring at bushes)Popular fishing river, you can sit and watch the boats go by. no trees, campsites have a shaded area. Didn't see much else to do, but I'll let others seek those out. Costs are $10 (50% for having the "Old Geezer Pass" Golden age thing) Casper is about 30 min down the road.
I was here in a Truck Camper, pads a little narrow, but deep. Wide separation so neighbors can give you peace and quiet, quieter that is...
While I wouldn't make a point of coming here, it's much better than Camp Wally (Walmart)

I just came up for the day thru Moki Dugway just to see it. Turn at the top of Moki onto dirt road. fairly long road, heavily washboarded and wouldn't want to do it in the rain. Camping area, free and open is fairly large, plenty of room but a little rough in some parts. The views, of course, are the main attraction. I'd maybe stay 2 nights only but to each their own.
