You could stay here for days, but we only visited for a couple hours. The girls wanted to visit Indiana, so we decided to go for a hike in Indiana to get out of the car and stretch our legs on the long road trip. The hike was a little rugged and great exercise. If you are into hiking, this would definitely be a place to consider for a longer stay. There is an entry fee to get in, so be sure check the web site before you go. I think it was around $9.00 for the car.

The two eleven-year-olds enjoyed this. They loved moving from one side of the street to the other, state hopping. It was certainly an awesome spot to stretch your legs.

We did not take our two eleven-year-olds on the interior tour because we thought it may have bored them and required some planning. Looking around the grounds and outside the house was completely amazing. The two girls were in awe, and they are not art fans in general. It is a worthwhile stop for certain. We got some of the best pictures of the trip from this location.

We did not spend a long time here with our two eleven-year-olds, but it is a beautiful park. Obviously, the importance is why you go, and it is strange being in such a recently historic location. It was a great way to have conversations with our young children. There is a bit of walking involved, but that is not a negative for us at all.

This is not as westerly in Pennsylvania as my Roadtrippers map is showing, but it was a worthwhile little stop. The locals were exceptionally nice and took some pictures for us. It was a fun spot to spend a few minutes stretching our legs. The two eleven-year-olds liked it as well.
