It's not a quick stop, nor a very cheap one. The adult tour is $10 each, but lasts 30 minutes. We were hoping for a quick stop on our ride home, and couldn't commit this much time. The good news is: it's not far off 19, and easy to get to.

Make the stop! Beautiful views, and the stairs get your blood flowing again after sitting in the car for too long.

Nice stop on our road trip. No reciprocal memberships, discounts, etc available.
The fort is a recreation of accounts from various forts around the area. There's a nice gallery in the 2nd floor of the gift shop / museum.
