Very well maintained and managed. It’s seems quite popular as it was full on a Sunday night. It is right on the highway 90 so it is very easily accessible. But, you get traffic noise. When a car tire hits the rumble strips, it sounds like a big bee. Then there are the airplanes—it’s near an airport. If you run your AC you probably won’t notice it. But it’s a great place to stop when you are traveling through. We’d stop again.

Located on the midst of the beautiful Black Hills, this place has it all. It is a well-maintained resort. We stayed in the upper Ranch Camp section. It has clean restrooms, showers, and laundry nearby. The location is ideal for visiting Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and Crazy Horse. Hill City is very close for shopping, fuel, and restaurants. It’s ideal.
