Was here with the fam overnight on 8/2/14. Staff was friendly and helpful. Campsites were simple but very comfortable.
Nice amenities, other campers were kind and the KAMP K9 dog run was so useful and cute. They can’t help it, but the freeway is RIGHT there so if the noise will bother you, be aware.
A good overnight spot as you head to other places. Right off highway - you can hear it - but that makes it a good for the quick one night stay. Pool is decent…mini golf and a bball hoop which our boys like.
Average at best.
This KOA wasnt my favorite. Long story short the bathrooms were alright but the showers in the one by the pool afe very small, so use the ones by the laundry and game room. And its right on the freeway so you get to hear traffic noise.
We had never stayed in a KOA Camping Cabin before but we’re pleasantly surprised. It’s not a brand new cabin but it was clean, the bathrooms were clean, and it wasn’t far from Sioux Falls Park. It is right next to the freeway so if you are a light sleeper that may be a problem. Overall, my family and I would stay there again.
Right on top of the highway, so the road noise was very present. There are earplugs for purchase when you check-in. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with giving directions to local areas to visit. The sites are close together. We stayed for one night and it seems this is a popular overnight stop for many RV travelers.
Very clean and peaceful during the day. Spots very close together making in hard to be quiet when packing up.
On our 10 KOA trip, this was the least satisfying. Picnic table covered with bird drippings, ants everywhere. The hosts were very pleasant and the restrooms, showers and laundry facilities refreshed and spotless.
Wonderful campsite and staff! Very clean and convenient off the interstate. They also offer an active military discount which was nice! Definitely would stay again! They have a store with some essential camping and RV items as well as an RV dealership next door that services RVs should you need one. We were pulling a Little Guy teardrop but their were many motor homes so they have very large sites.
