No doggies allowed anywhere in the park :(
Good kitsch, "world's largest petrified tree"
No dogs allowed, v expensive to see a hole in the ground, we turned around and drove down some dirt roads for a great view of San Francisco peaks instead.
Quiet, cheap, option for "deluxe" campsites with water and electricity and grill if you want it. Note that plugging the address here into Google maps takes you into a trailer park, not to the entrance to the state park--keep driving till you see the sign.
Great stop for us to camp for cheap on our cross country road trip. We had the canyon completely to ourselves, which our dog loved, and he was kept out of trouble because the canyon encloses the site completely. Great waypoint.
Really out there, recommend getting in in the evening to catch the sunset over the western PA hills. Dinner at green gables was INCREDIBLE, a little expensive but worth the meal. Has a kind of hobbit home feel. Cozy and clean and offbeat.
Awesome, but be aware the surrounding park is currently under construction so it's hard to find the entrance
V cool, plus some crazy architecture to see at the university
Pet friendly
LOL AMAZING
