Not open to the public, but 150% worth the trip just to look in from the outside of the dense. It's currently being demolished, so it looks like this place won't be on the list long 😔

Glad it exists, didn't find a place to actually stop and check it out. Looks like a much larger production than I expected.

FYI, closes for the winter. But it was a nice drive ;)

Coordinates take you to the wrong side of the river, but this was a beautiful first stop on our NJ road trip! Drive straight down to the water where there was a snow-covered park and we could see the river with the lighthouse directly across from us. We stopped for breakfast at the Athens Riverside Diner - fantastic winter road trip morning :)

My family and I made it to the lighthouse for some sightseeing while on a trip in California. It was a beautiful sight - just as windy as we heard, but we got a beautiful clear day with incredible visibility. I would advise that you check the days the lighthouse is actually open for visitors; we saw the lighthouse from above but weren't able to walk down and visit because it was closed. It's about a 45 minute drive from the Bear Creek visitors center, and about a half mile walk past the parking area but totally worth it!
